Exceptional experience at Passionfruit lodge. It truly was a pleasure to stay here. The rooms felt more like little houses / cabanas and were very spacious, and the hotel itself is tucked away in a beautiful little jungle with a pool. I really enjoyed waking up every morning to the sound of birds and howler monkeys, and take walks in the garden to discover new birds and butterflies. The pool area is divine. The warm welcome from Giacomo also really improved the overall experience. Overall my stay really felt like a few days of absolute peace in a paradise garden. I would recommend to everyone going to Costa Rica to stay here !
Nothing but it is worth noting that it is not walking distance of the town of Cahuita, so you need a car or to take taxis (I took taxis and Uber during my entire stay which was fine)

The staff was very nice, especially Giacomo was very helpful and made us feel at home. He recommended us great restaurants and places to visit. The pool and garden are beautiful and the houses are great.

Our stay in the Passion Fruit Lodge was exceptional. It’s easily accessible by car and close to Cahuita, but also perfect to explore Puerto Viejo and further south, yet hidden away. Being so close to nature and able to spot lots of animals was amazing - as was the option to cook and relax outside on the terrace. We especially enjoyed the pool which seamlessly fits into its surroundings. Generally, the lodges have a very natural, easy-going vibe that made us extend our stay. Thank you to Giacomo for all the recommendations 😊
This didn’t bother us, but the WiFi can be unstable at times.

We loved everything! The couple running the place were so kind and friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean. Our outdoor kitchen was easy to use and so nice to relax in. We enjoyed using the shared bar space for evening drinks and a game of pool. We also loved the yoga hut to do a morning workout as well as a cheeky game of pickle ball.
Nothing we loved it all! However, note that a motorbike or car is needed unless you are happy to pay for uber :)
