On a tout adoré le lieu en général la tranquillité et surtout l'accueil discret et généreux des propriétaires. Skevros et Polymnia sont des anges !

Adorable petite maison dans un village de charme. Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cette maison simple mais très agréable avec une très belle hauteur sous plafond dans le séjour qui donne sur une grande terrasse. La maison est bien équipée avec des lits confortables. On est dans la nature et on peut entendre chèvres, moutons et poules du poulailler du propriétaire. Nous avons été chaleureusement reçus par Svlatos qui nous a offert des oeufs frais. La mer est à 200 m par une petit chemin qui conduit au centre de ce charmant village de bord de mer calme et reposant à souhait. Endroit parfait pour se reposer et déconnecter un peu.

Everything was fantastic . Basically the ground floor with basement below . Owner lives in basement . The villa is traditional Greek property but has been wonderfully refurbished . 2 beds, large living room and kitchen with vaulted ceiling . Modern bathroom . Good shower . Wifi good . Balcony facing sea and mountains . 5-7 min walk to beach which has a number of very good tavernas. I would say that to get to the villa you would need a taxi or hire car as it’s at least 30 mins drive . Friendly owner . There are chickens and a vocal rooster whom competes vocally with other roosters in the area. But we liked that type of thing . Loved the villa and would highly recommend for a peaceful break.

I have been visiting Kalymnos for around 15 years now and have always stayed in Massouri or Armeos. Last year I visited on my honeymoon in early October, during relatively heavy travel restrictions, it was lovely because it was not so busy. This year my wife and I decided to return to Kalymnos to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The place we stayed at last year was booked up and most other places could not accommodate us for the full duration of our trip. Villa Polymnia was one of the few places that was available and I'm extremely glad it was. Staying in Emporios proved to be a dream and Villa Polymnia was the icing on the cake. In all my years of visiting Kalymnos I have not once found what I consider to be a comfortable bed! The mattress at Polymnia was much nicer than any another on the island. Added to that the location was superb. Easy walking distance of beaches and restaurants, of road parking for your hire car and every facility you could need in the villa. Having access to a washing machine was a boon and next time I stay it will mean I can get away with packing fewer clothes. Emporios is a quieter village than Massouri which if you're staying with your partner and wanting to relax, is perfect. There are also several crags within walking distance of the villa and we had several days where we didn't do any driving to go climbing. I'm sure I could go on but I doubt I need to. The place is perfect, just don't book it when I want to stay!
