Location
So hot at night, and no air conditioning.
I reserved a private 1 queen bed room and I get 4 small beds. Not comfortable

The lady working was very lovely and very friendly. Our room was massive although the only external window looked onto the other half of the room but it was good for a night. Very close to various restaurants. We were able to leave our bags there after we checked out which was great and they had a little seating area you can wait in although it was outside.

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca a los principales destinos turísticos. La habitación cómoda y limpia. Es ideal para estancias cortas, y para viajeros que quieran pasar la noche en un sitio tranquilo y estar de tour el resto del día.
El establecimiento sólo recibe pagos en metálico. Esto suele ser un problema para los turistas ya que te obliga a pagar las tasas de retiro de dinero en cajeros que suelen ser muy altas.

Quiet place close to Kennedy Park and nice restaurants.

No fan and an extra $5 power night for a room with a fan was expensive.

Soundproofing between the other rooms and kitchen wasn’t the best, no noice from the street though.

Nice, simple and clean room and bathroom. The shower was really hot.
Good localisation, 10min walk to the Kennedy Park. A supermarket and a good sandwich shop not too expensive at 1min walk each, and a few econonomic restaurants around (14 soles the menu).
The host answered all our questions and know her city very well.
There is no sign outside with the name of the hostel, so make sure to look out for the number of the house and simply ring the bell.
And be aware that you can't borrow a hairdryer (not a big deal but good to know).

We had a fantastic stay in the Peruvian Family Hostel. The owner Olga was really nice and helped us whenever we asked her. The room and the bath were very clean, so we felt absolutly comfortable. The location of the hostel is awesome. It's a quiet corner in Miraflores, with a near big supermarkt and no long way to the Kennedypark and

The room was very very clean, and the bins were emptied frequently. The host was fantastic and always quickly ready to help us with things (like cutlery and amenities). She also kindly allowed us to stay past check out time, as our flight was at 9pm. The WiFi is excellent and had 2 zoom meeting without any issue. Showers are hot with clean toilets. Overall I really recommend if staying in Lima as it is affordable, clean and in a great location, with many restaurants and the Indian market 5 mins away.

Staff was wonderful in assisting us. The bed is decent. I’d recommend for a one night quick stay.
Location could be better for Miraflores. Also, here is a locked gate to enter first where you have to ring a bell. Guests come and go during all hours of the night so it can be loud. You also hear the doorbell when they arrive.

The host Olga is great, she was very attentive to my needs. I like the place so much that and I ended up staying for a bit longer than originally planned. The rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable. The place is quiet and the showers have hot water. Overall a great place to stay for a good price.
