La gentillesse du personnel, la situation géographique.
Il y a une climatisation, la chambre reste donc fraîche. Mais les fenêtres ne ferment pas très bien.

Friendly staff, the manager speaks good English and does a lot of work in the community & local charities. He also arranges tours. Comfy spacious room. Friendly pet cats for cuddles! Close to the ferry port.
I had an early breakfast before catching the ferry, there wasn't a lot of choice for a vegetarian unfortunately, and no bottled water or other cold drinks (I couldn't bring my own as flew in and arrived late) , although there was boiled water for tea and fresh coffee.

The girl on reception was really nice. We could check in couple of hours before. The location is great, because we could walk from ferry terminal. They also arranged us a ride to the airport - 1500 CVE.
I don't normally complain about beds, because no bed is home bed, but this one was really terrible. The matress is probably ancient and the bed frame squeaks so loud everytime you move that you cannot sleep. Although, the kids bed was a lot better.

Good staff, location and breakfast.
We had booked one of the rooms in the basement but when entering it the air was really foul and I felt that I was about to get an asthma attack. If you have a lung condition or is sensitive to humidity/mould book one of the rooms on the upper floor. They cost around 65-70 Euros inclusive tax and are overpriced, but a healthier choice. There is almost no pressure in the shower.
