- Well connected by metrobus to the centre of Rome (piazza di spagna, Spanish steps, Trastevere, St. Peter's, Vatican Museums) in 35-45 minutes you can reach these places, you can leave your car in the free parking of Olgiata Station, or even go directly with your car if you have rented one.
The cosy and familiar house is ideal for large families with children and groups of friends. The colour of the olive trees in the driveway in contrast to the green of the Roman pines that surround the garden, the scent of jasmine, the fireplace and the cosy house will make your stay unforgettable.
The house can be considered a good starting point to visit not only the city of Rome but also Viterbo, Lake Nepi, the lake and the castle of Bracciano.

The villa is on two levels the garden level and the upper floor; it has a large exclusive garden. It is a quiet house in the Roman countryside. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property of the park and the entire villa;

INSIDE: On the ground floor large living room with fireplace and dining area, kitchen, 2 large rooms, 1 bathroom with shower. Upstairs three more bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite; parking inside the large garden.
BEDROOMS: Spacious and luminous with a view of the garden those on the ground floor, with velux those on the upper floor.
KITCHEN: equipped with all the utensils and cutlery, plates, glasses etc. ... to set up a king's table for 14 people and pots, pans, bowls etc. ... everything you need to cook the dishes from masterchefs, also Microwave oven - electric oven - toaster - kettle - American coffee machine with filters - moka Italian coffee machine - dishwasher - washing machine.
LIVING ROOM: a large and bright living area with two large sofas and an armchair overlooking the fireplace and the large French window overlooking the garden. Flat screen TV 47 inches- A corner for "tourist" information is available on the desk at the entrance.
LUNCH AREA: The dining table in the lounge comfortably seats ten people but allows seating for 14!
BATHROOMS: on the ground floor a large bathroom with shower and window overlooking the garden. Upstairs two further bathrooms both with bath and velux windows.
CHILDREN'S CORNER: Library with books and comics of various kinds, card games and board games available for younger guests, and of course everything you need for colouring and painting ! 😊😊

We had a large group and the host was very helpful indeed and assisted us the whole way through. Self-catering for a short time made it a bit more tiring with shopping and travel into the city, so if we had longer time it would have been better. The house and garden were beautiful and I would 100% recommend this place.

I came to Rome with a group of 9 and we chose to stay here to escape the noise of the city, and it was perfect. The host was super kind and responsive. The property was beautiful and quiet. It was super easy to get to the train station and easy to explore the countryside from the house. I would definitely stay here again. It was the perfect place for us.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! This villa is a ways out from Rome attractions, however, if you have a car or a driver all is well- it is so peaceful! It's a nice retreat from the chaos and noise of inner city Rome. Communication with the owner was fantastic- she's very responsive and helpful. Love this place!

The property is very comfortable and spacious, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for a large family or group. It is in a lovely location in a suburban area amongst the pine trees. Although my family were staying to visit Rome over Easter, there was a real temptation to relax in the sunshine in the garden amongst the citrus trees. Our host was very attentive and provided all information we needed, especially regarding the train links to get into Rome, which required a journey of approx. 35 minutes. On Sunday we were even able to drive in without much difficulty. This was a lovely home in a beautiful location, and highly recommended.

We loved this property!! The owner was amazing she made sure we were well informed. There were more than enough beds & space for everyone. We would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone staying here with a large group!

This property is lovely, it is a short train ride away from Rome and after a day of walking and touring Rome, it was wonderful to come back to this lovely home. The property is large and lush with olive trees, orange trees, lots of herbs and a huge yard that is very well tended. This is a beautiful area outside to just sit and relax. We had breakfast outside and started planning our day while just taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Lucia is so gracious and responded very quickly to any questions I had.
I would come back to this home again.

This villa was the perfect place for 10 people The A/C worked well, even on very hot days. The kitchen was easy to use and the towels for the bathrooms were luxurious. This was an easy place to find, located directly off the highway and was located very close to the train into Rome. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

We spent 5 glorious days in this home, using a car to explore some of the areas surrounding Rome (Ostia Antica, Cerveteri, Palestrina, etc.). The location, first of all, is perfect. It is quite easy to access the GRA (ring road around Rome), but you are far enough into the countryside to enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything that you need can be found in the nearby town of La Storta. The only difficulty in the location is that GPS seems to have a mental block concerning the location--we ended up just mapping everything using the nearby tennis club as our home point, because otherwise we'd end up with REALLY strange directions. Our hostess, luckily, had warned us about this issue, so we were prepared.
The property itself is simply gorgeous. This rental, so far as I can tell, is about 1/3 of a much larger house, but it has been divided up in such a way that you don't feel the presence of the neighbors--walls are thick, there are hedges and fences dividing the areas, and each portion of the building has its own yard, drive, etc. There are two friendly dogs next door, one of whom kept escaping to come and visit us, which was delightful for our son.
We really loved having all the orange and olive trees, and fresh garden herbs (took advantage of some sage and rosemary in our cooking). They also made the place really lovely and welcoming. When all the shutters are open, there are huge french doors that look over everything, so the place is filled with light. The kitchen is roomy and welcoming, a great place to cook dinner for a big group.
This was a place for a mini family reunion for us: we were 4 adults and 1 child in all. We could have also easily accomodated my sister's family, with 2 additional adults and 2 children. There's a huge family bedroom upstairs, plus two smaller ones. One smaller bedroom is ensuite, and the other two share a full bathroom. Downstairs there are two additional bedrooms that share a bathroom. All the beds we used were quite comfortable, and there were nice touches like hair dryers in every bathroom. Similarly, the kitchen was extremely well equipped.
There is ample space at the dining table and in the living room for a crowd, and in nice weather, the patio can accommodate a large group as well. We had some rain, so the stock of umbrellas for guests came in handy, as did the decks of cards and board games. Our hostess was out of the country during our visit, but kept in contact via email and text.

We had 14 family members there. We were quite pleased with the Villa and the location. Easy to get into town from the train and metro.The shops and restaurants in the area that you recommended were very good.

Beautiful and spacious home close to the train station. The large yard with fruit and olives trees provide a shady place to relax. The house has plenty of sleeping accomadations and also AC in each room. The owner, Lucia, provided everything in the house we could need during your stay such as linens, blow dryers and also included restaurant and train/metro information. Thank you very much Lucia! We had a lovely stay!

Lucia and her family were amazing!!! From the moment we booked it was first class service all the way. My husband and I were flying in from the United States of America and his family and friends from the Netherlands. We were in Rome to celebrate our wedding. The home was clean, spacious, and accommodated everyone in the wedding group easily. We even had a welcome packet waiting for us from the owners. Lucia provided us clear instructions to the home, recommended restaurants, shops, and provided us additional suggestions that saved us a ton of time and money. It had easy access to the train into the city center. Our family focused on relaxing in home environment and the wedding...we will cherish our memories in this house forever. We enjoyed the most coffee in the terraza of the home every chance we had. She had EVERYTHING that any person could possibly need.
We are already planning for our next visit back to Lucia's home. This is a must if you want live like the locals in the countryside and live like the Romans do...a dream come true!

We were with a big family in this house, ages between 5 and 71, and we all loved the spacious house and the big garden. Children could play as much as they liked, in both the house and the garden. We were there without a car, but walked in 15 minutes to the train which brought us in half an hour to the city of Rome.
The house was clean and provided with all you need in a Household, even all basics for meals. For the rest we brought food from Rome of went to the smaller or biggen shops in Olgiata (all wel provided), which were on a distant of 25 minutes walk. The same holds for a number of restaurants in the village. Finally, we were impressed by all the care the owner of the house took for us, giving all information we needed and more, and giving the feeling that were very welcome.

Excellente solution pour être près de Rome tout en étant à la campagne, au calme dans une grande villa avec une immense et agréable jardin. La gare est à 5mn en voiture et Rome à 35mn en train. ( Idéal pour ne pas à avoir à prendre la voiture pour visiter Rome).
Nous nous sommes vraiment plus dans cette villa et comme Rome ne se visite pas en 15 jours, nous reviendrons sans hésitation chez Lucia qui est d'une grande attention pour ses hôtes et en toute discrétion.
