The location is excellent and the apartment itself is nice, but there were some other upsetting issues.

We were overcharged by Booking.com by almost 800 Euro!!! Unbelievable! I will call customer service when I return to the USA - traveling in the Netherlands now.

Superb location, walking distance to all major sights, good dining all around. The apartment is comfortable and tastefully decorated. Two nice terraces make the stay even more pleasant. I can definitely recommend this apartment as a perfect and appealing place for exploring Rome.

No elevator but we didn't mind.

The apartment is extremely well situated a few yards away from the Campo di Fiori, where all amenities are to be found. It is a very quiet and secluded place on the very last floor of a very clean and quiet building with enjoyable views on the Acetari from the 2 terraces. It is well furnished in the 80's Roman Bourgeois style with a few art pieces and a lot of personnal belongings from the lady owning the apartment. Felt like life had stopped here some twenty years ago.

The last revamping of the apartment dates back probably from the 80's as does the kitchen equipment. It felt a little bit like beeing in the apartment of my grand ma especially when using the worn out fridge, pans and fighting with the radio equipment (with a T shape antenna for FM and a malfunctionning loudspeaker) or TV remote control. Clearly far away from the current standard where you can plug your iphone and listen to Deezer or watch HD 4K TV. What is clearly not acceptable is the malfunctionning waterheater we had to guess how to reset on our own twice to take warm showers. Some refurbishing is obviously needed.
