Casa in Monti

Staff were very nice and the breakfast on the terrace was delicious and a nice touch. The room was clean and tidy and the minibar good value. You'll need cash for the minibar and city tax.

Pictures of the rooms do give a better impression than the reality, particularly in terms of lighting.

The location was close to attractions and the neighbourhood felt safe. The property was clean and quaint. The breakfast was tasty and convenient. The staff was awesome. I'd highly recommend Casa in Monti.

The homemade yogurt, tarts, jams, cook to order eggs at breakfast were amazing. Carlos, the manager/owner, was on top of everything and helped us to accommodate a last minute family member. The two workers Roberto and the other gentleman were excellent. A car was sent to us to pick us and drop us off at the train station. Carlos arranged for a family member to be picked up a few times. The place was clean and the grounds very well kept up. I highly recommend this location. The town was quaint and not as crowded as some of the other cities along the Amalfi Coast. The train and ferry were accessible. It was built as a Villa/Palance and made into a hotel.

Nothing really it was nice a place to stay.

Location is great, room was clean, staff was nice, but that's it. Then there are cons because of which i would not consider it again.

The room was too dark, relying only on the lights inside, but the worst thing was privacy. Right behind the room door is the front desk. You can hear every single word through the door. People moving around likely don't realize it or don't care, but it is too disrupting, mainly late in the evening. Also, i am pretty sure outside, every word from the inside of the room is audible. It could be worse only if there is no door there at all.
