The general location is very rural but there were still a few accommodation choices as well as this one. Overall enjoyed my stay, but facilities could do with some improvement and breakfast is no longer available. However, host explained that use of the kitchen and dining table is available so you can still make your own arrangements.
Some of the TV channels didn't work and breakfast is no longer available.

The owner Gordon is a lovely man, really really nice old stick, and clearly enjoys the company.
The room was a nice size and he clearly didn't mind us travelling with a dog
He was OK for us to use the kitchen as we needed, and it was a help yourself to breakfast, which he showed me around
Shared bathroom
The beds needed some TLC they were very squeaky everytime you moved it squeaked.
Gordon could only recommend the hotel for somewhere to eat - however we found the New Inn in Keiss and the food there was excellent, the ladies running it were also very nice. I have to say we ended up spending the evening with a local called Alan who kept us entertained along with his partner (??)
