Amazing views over the river. A lovely touch to greet guests at reception with a cold facecloth and refreshing cool drink while checking in😊

It's 2 minutes walk from the slow boat pier, they pick your luggage when you arrive. Both the common area and the room looks gorgeous, beautifully decorated, well kept and clean. The river view is breath taking. Staff is really helpful, I asked for a mosquito net and they set it up in minutes. The breakfast was very fulfilling, it kept me going whole day on the boat. I was concerned about insects, I didn't see any 🙈

Facilities were much nicer and peaceful than expected and I enjoyed it very much. The owner was adorable and so sweet. Made a freshly made hot breakfast for me to go for the second leg of slowboat.

View serene, location quiet, and back balcony was spacious.

Bedsheet was damp due to no air circulation, fans were not cooling. Room smelled moldy, like old wet towels. Adding A/C for the rate would have been preferred. Most expensive one night stay in Laos thus far. I am visiting Laos for a month and average rooms $12 -$20 from north to south. This river lodge had a monopoly due to the mandatory lay over when traveling by slow boat from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang and sadly it was disappointing. We rented 2 rooms and both parties did not get a restful sleep after traveling in a slow boat for 5 hours, but thankful regardless for the hot shower.
