Haveli Taragarh Palace

The hotel room was excellent - the suite was free, so I was upgraded to it from the regular room I booked. Michael, the owner, is one of the best people I met. He took of everything needed, in a very nice manner. The location is just beside the lake, and the start of the fort, which’s the center of bundi.

As always all was perfect at Taragarh: the warm welcome of the joyful owner, the comfort and cleanliness, the ideal situation in the old city, the delicious dinner and breakfast. +++ Precious informations about Bundi, interesting advises for visiting the city and surrounding.

The room was super clean, the bed very comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure with hot water available quickly — something not to take for granted while traveling. The hotel is quiet despite being right in the heart of Bundi, just a short walk from the road and close to all major attractions. A special thank you to Michael, who made the stay exceptional. He provided delicious warm food every day, shared great cultural insights, gave fantastic local tips, and helped me a lot with my onward travel plans. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Bundi!

Just nothing

The location was very good, close to the palace and fort, as was expected. The room was small but airy. The manager acted as cook for breakfast in absence of appropriate staff.

1) There was hardly any staff to ask for any service. 2) They have a restaurant which remained closed other than during breakfast. 3) There's no lift although the rooftop restaurant is above 3rd floor.
