Wood fired hot tub was incredible at night to star gaze!
Some of the windows don’t have blinds so you wake up naturally from the light.

Peaceful, well appointed, comfortable. A place where you can just switch off and relax.Henk communicated well and was waiting when we arrived. As soon as you enter the gate you feel the peace. A super welcome basket of goodies , 5 star linen , towels and gowns, plenty of wood, self enclosed cottage area to keep a small dog safe, but with rows of open olive trees and fruit trees to walk.

Amazing cottage in a picturesque setting in Montagu. The cottage is a complete "off the grid" property. There are no plugs in the cottage and all the energy required to run the cottage is sourced from solar power or gas. The cottage is very cosy and has an indoor and outdoor fireplace. There are also 4 different spaces outside on the patio or in the garden with chairs and loungers where one can relax with a coffee. The cottage was really comfortable and was fully equipped with everything one would need for their stay. A lovely basket with fresh farm produce was waiting on our arrival.
There is only 1 USB point to charge a phone. This is not enough, especially if one has two charge at least 2 phones and watches.

Great and quiet spot in the middle of an olive garden and within the heart of Montagu. Lots of nice touches provided by the owners. Efficient use of small space with a lovely large deck outside.
