Rhapsody Resort - Official

Rhapsody Resort was a lovely hotel to spend 6 nights of our honeymoon in. Our flight landed late so we arrived after check in, but our key was provided in a lock box with easy instructions and our room had been decorated with towel swans and a card left from staff wishing us a happy honeymoon which was lovely. We had asked for a high up room which we did not get originally, but upon checking in properly the next morning staff moved us without question despite the hotel being nearly fully booked for a festival so that was greatly appreciated. Walking distance to Surfers Paradise beach and shops which was handy for meals, as not only are there a lot of restaurants around but there are also communal BBQs on the rooftop garden which were great fun for cooking our own dinners some nights, with a Coles only a short walk away to get supplies from! Cutlery and crockery were also all available in our room to use for this too. Free parking is available which was great as we also hired a car - it is first come first served and on our first night when we arrived late we could not find a space so had to park on the road, but we easily found a space every other day so this was not an issue but something to bear in mind that there are no allocated spaces.

Location was great for us. Light rail was excellent for 50c per trip.

Shower was very disappointing as water pressure was medium pressure thus making you stand near the wall to get under the shower, which made you hit the soap holder and taps. If you go out at night by car you might not get a carpark when you come back making you park in the street.
