The Smugglers Rest

It was our first time in Devon and it won’t be our last. We arrived and easily found the car park opposite the hotel. We received a wonderful warm welcome & introduction to a lovely hotel. The room was very clean and had everything you could wish for. The bed was very comfortable, the decor was fresh & there was a good sized en-suite. Our room had a balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on catching the last bit of evening sun. The food was all freshly home made and the granola breakfast was wonderful. A lovely hotel in a wonderful location, we will be booking again.

That we had to leave

Fantastic experience … had an evening meal as well as breakfast. Will and his team were very attentive and accommodating throughout the stay .Our room was great and well stocked with tea and coffee.

We had a small but comfortable bedroom; the coffee machine was a nice touch. Perfectly located for walking the South West Costal Path (as a very short distance from Woolacombe).

Nothing

Delicious breakfast, nice room and gorgeous bathroom. Very helpful and nice personnel. Location is great, not far from the beach and close to the hiking path along the shore where you can watch the seals.
