Superb location with beautiful views of the Fells. Warm welcome from the friendly staff. Hearty breakfast. No frills inn and I like that.

They did allow me to check-in early. It had not occurred to me that an inn might not be open for business during the lunch period.
The walls are a bit thin and the guy in the next room was an olympic talker on his phone.

"Friendly welcome upon arrival despite being very late. All info was provided so everything was clear. Beds were really comfy, shower was great. Breakfast delicious. Nothing was too much trouble."
