Great location in Ubud (10 min walking from the Ubud Palace). Good restaurants nearby and a 24-hour convenience store on the same street. We stayed for 4 nights in the room with 2 single beds. Clean room and bathroom. Although some language barrier at the beginning when in person, communication was pretty kind and respectful. Breakfast is provided on the table in front of each room- always punctual as to adapt to the guest needs. The included breakfast is simple but tasteful, and we can add extra if needed (pay for extra). Host was kind and helped with everything we needed. Fair price. Kind host.

When we arrived, we didn’t find the hotel entrance. It seems that the front sign has broke. Not a problem if you ask for another references to the host in advance.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm.

Per me alloggiare da Taman Ayu è come essere a casa. Posto bellissimo, pulito e in una posizione comodissima per uscire a piedi di sera. Ketut con la sua dolcezza e disponibilità è la ciliegina sulla torta. Ci torno ogni volta che passo per Ubud.

The location was absolutely prime. It was a 3 minute walk to get to the main street of the city centre, and right across several delicious warungs. It's also right beside a temple that offers kecak performances twice a week put together by the local community. The breakfast was home cooked, simple and good- it was brought right to my room. The room itself was comfortable, nice queen sized bed with big windows. The water was hot and good water pressure, and the air conditioner was strong. The design of the surroundings was so intentional and beautiful, it brought so much peace despite being in such a touristy part of Ubud. The hosts were also super kind and wonderful- I enjoyed chatting with them and they helped me with moving my luggage to and from my room which was much appreciated.

It would have been nice to have some shampoo and body wash included, the only thing the washroom came with was a bar of soap but that's ok for the price I paid. There were many steep steps even though I stayed on the main floor, maybe 8-9 in total that are each over 1ft high so for anyone with mobility challenges, this is good to keep in mind.
