Fantastic central location, easy free parking, comfortable beds, nice little garden. Some nice little touches.
Obviously it is a very old and characterful property with the decor and furniture to match, however both bathrooms really need modernising, the downstairs ‘bathroom’ is just a shower and loo, not a full bathroom. No surface to put a wash bag on or proper washbasin in there. A new sofa wouldn’t go amiss and a bit more thought about what guests might need.

Red Lion Corner is a delightful cottage, with traditional oak beams. It is spacious, very comfortable and with almost
all the facilities we needed. We instantly felt at home in it. The bedrooms look out onto the beautiful Market Square and were very comfortable - we slept very well! The kitchen was well provided with crockery, cutlery and drinking glasses.
It lacks a dishwasher, but this was not too much of a problem. I personally didn't like the two-sided bread knife (i.e with
teeth on both sides). Otherwise perfect!

Proximity to all areas of Lavenham. Very well equipped house for up to 6 guests. Lovely garden and house is very quirky.
Bed in Master bedroom was uncomfortable and creaked and squeaked whenever you moved.
Furniture in living room could do with an update.
