The staff were so, so lovely. I can not remember another time when I wanted to make sure to see the reception team again because they were so nice! And the location??? Beach at the end of the driveway. The proximity to the Solent was beyond what we'd expected based on the map. So, so good. Loved the recommendation of Lilly's in Seaview. So quiet, so many stars!
The furnishings in the cottage were Ikea-grade throughout. Utilitarian and dog-friendly, but not comfortable. The metal bed in the main bedroom had completely eaten through the inexpensive laminate flooring, and the pleather 2-seater sofas were not comfortable enough for lounging. If we'd been tracking in sand all day, it would have been perfect, but for staying in with a book or to watch a movie it wasn't ideal.

Location and facilities
Need to park car away from the property.
We understand the need to ensure the safety of children but as there is a speed limit of 5 mph this should be sufficient.
