Hotel28 Myeongdong

this is a dream of a hotel- every single detail about the property and our stay was just pure perfection. its design, subtle luxury and beauty all around, gorgeous breakfast prepared according to phylosophy that food is medicine. you'll gave a dyson hairdryer in your room and molton brown products all over. and for all film afficionados- this is a place to be. hotel founder is an iconic korean film star today in his nineties, regulary visiting the hotel and there is a wonderful gallery or museum of film industry feel throughout the hotel. and greatest location imaginable. we are coming back in two years!

The location was wonderful. It was so close to the night market in Myeongdong. The rooms were cleaned promptly, and you get discounts 15 to 20% at neighboring businesses. The Panda Pharmacy was great you just need your room key and passport to get discount and tax free products. Regarding the breakfast that was included with my hotel stay they had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, vegetables, salad, coleslaw, tomatoes with mozzarella, assorted breads,, jelly, fruits, juices, nuts, dried cranberries, dried apricots, raisins, cereal, tea, and coffee (Nespreso) everyday; this was all in addition to a small main course.

The voice level was a little loud at night, but they did provide ear plugs. The breakfast was okay, but if you are from the United States don't expect large portions or anything that you are used to having for an American breakfast.

Great location, so easy to just walk out of the hotel and we are right where all the shops are. We travelled with 2 kids- aged 4 and 7, and we could just walk everywhere. Public transport is easy to navigate with kids, with the subway stations close-by.

Can get pretty busy in the evening and at night and can be overwhelming for the kids, but because the hotel is in such a great location, we were able to just go back and rest in the afternoon when the weather was hot.
