Even in January the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing! Sitting out there in the cold 😀 , very clean and warm inside the house, bed very comfortable, loved the town , beautiful house

The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. I also appreciated the contact I had with the property owners, who contacted me via Whatsapp and offered the option to do a self check-in. It meant we were no constricted to a particular time. There was also cool water, coffee and tea available to satisfy the first arrival needs of weary travellers.

Modern kitchen and bathrooms.
Location is definitely not attractive..you are at the top of the town .steep walk down and no characteristic buildings. Internal stairs in the apartment are also steep and dangerous. Definitely do not book if you have children or mobility issues. We booked the entire apartment but when we arrived the second bedroom and bathroom were locked they told us they do this when there are only two people. But how can they assume you will not need two rooms???On a busy road and church bells ring every 15 minutes throughout the night. We checked out after one night even though we booked and paid for 3 as we did not sleep at all. Bed also not comfortable. Would not recommend. Do not know how it has such high ratings!

Amazing terrace. It was a privillege to have breakfast in such place. Calm town in the mountains. Restaurants and shops in walkable distance. Perfect communication from the host.
For adulds it is ok, but I dont know if its perfect for young kids and old people. You have to use stairs.

The Appartment and Castelbueno itself is amazing. So is Marianna. The view from the balcony is stunning, as well as the barbecue. Super cozy beds, super tidy and absolutely well equipped rooms make you wish you didn't book for only one night. The town with all the charming streets and buildings , the beautiful pubs, the people and the good food makes this place worth a visit.

Our best stay in Sicily! Everything looks brand new and is super clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped and the roof terrace is an amazing place to have a tranquil breakfast in the morning sun. Highly recommended location for some hiking or plain relaxing.
As with most beds in Sicily this too has a very springy and quite hard mattress. It's a matter of taste of course, but we couldn't get used to it. Adding a memory foam top layer would make the whole expirience heavenly.

Everything was SUPER clean!! We really loved the views of the apartment. There were even a few basic things such as coffee and sugar.

The apartment is really lovely. The best feature is the large balcony on the top floor, from which you get a beautiful view of the city. Also, as it is located just outside the centre, the area is very quiet. It is in walking distance to everything you need. Marianna is a great host. She is very responsive and let us check in early. Thank you!

The apartment is a 3-floor tower house, so be prepared to climb a lot of stairs. Nevertheless the apartment is refurbished in a very modern and appealing way. The terrace with the view over the hills and town is superb.
The mattress in the masters bedroom seems a bit thin and in October is was even in Sicily too cold to do without a working heating system, especially in the lower bedroom and the living room, where there is no air-conditioning to help out.
