The flat is located at the heart of Gaios steps away from cafes, restaurants and bars; 10 mins walk away from the ferries coming from Corfu. It has 2 spacious bedrooms and a nice living room. The terrace is lovely and you can enjoy the sea view. Paola was also very sweet. The bathroom was a bit small but manageable. We didn’t cook but all utensils were there.

We really enjoyed it and would stay there again if I travel to Paxos again. However please bear in mind that the access with wheelchair, stroller might be challenging because you need to take some stairs to reach the flat.

The location was perfect!in the centre!

The location couldn't be better for us. It's no more than a 10 mins walk from the ferry terminal, and about the same to the Gaios' main square where there is a supermarket. The nearest restaurant is about 2 mins walk, and we tried a different restaurant every night - all within 10 mins walk. Amazing! The aircon in the bedrooms were quiet so sleep isn't disturbed. The balcony is a great place to have canopes or read a book. with such a great view of the harbour - it really makes this apartment special. Paola couldn't have been more heplful, saving so much time hunting around for information, and pointed us to some great choices for locations, excersions etc, and was always available via whatsapp. It's like having your personal tour guide on tap when you need it. The bathroom is 'compact' but this is a small niggle rather than a big issue.

Excellent location!! Amazing views!! Friendly Host!!

The location is good, but it's located just behind the most noisy bar of Gaios, the Manesko, a couple of steps away from the port. This is giving a lot of disturbance up to 2 AM in the morning. Nothing in the listing indicate this noisy environment. The place is however clean, the only positive thing. Paola have been nice on first contact but I must tell that after we complained for all missing things or broken things or inaccurate and deception description of the place, she accused us to break her home on first day. She even sent us the message that "she did not wanted to ear about us again". Amazing. It's only because we complaint to Booking.com that she finally have fixed a part of the issues. Bad faith and dishonnest owner to avoid. So, for everything else, it's all negative.

This apartment is a scam, a deception, a shame. I have an entire file of photos who exactly shaw what I describe. Some things have been fixed but we where not able to get what we booked for : 3 sleeping areas, working kitchen, decent bathroom. Here is the list of things we found upon arrival : - Very noisy environment with a Bar at front of the terrace, up to 2AM in the morning. - Electric system is old and dangerous. There is no earth in the kitchen and all is powered in one single plug. We had an electric plug totally broken and out of the wall with visible electric contacts in children bedroom. So dangerous! Fixed only after dispute with Booking. - The kitchen was non functional : the all in one oven/stove was so old and rusty ! and it was put on a small table, behind the fridge in the corner, almost unaccessible. Not possible to cook here. Changed after 3 days of dispute. - the clic-clac sofa bed is totally broken and cannot be used as a bed because the mechanism is twisted. When open, it's not more possible to put it on sofa position. If you move, piece of steel will fall. Our son sleeps on the floor for 3 days then on camp bed. We did not paid for this. - tiny bathroom with ridiculous shower of 65cm wide ! On WC, it's so tiny. The shower curtain is not full high and any shower will transform the bathroom as a swimming pool whatever you do. Head of shower for totally leaking. Changed after 3 days of dispute. - We got 1 unique spoon (!) and and don't hope to get more knife and fork than the number you are. Glasses, the same etc. We got one per person after 2 days of fight... - AC units are in the bedrooms only and are pretty noisy, but this is the less disturbing. If you get out and leave it, even at 30 degrees to save electricity, Paola will come inside to switch it off. So, you will get inside a 40 degree place in summer. Great experience. - Beds are all extra firm at the limit of confort. Worst experience we had in any of our trips.

Lovely host and location just v expensive for what it is

The cost

Very clean and spacious apartment. Also located very close to the main square. Easy communication with the attentive and nice host Paola who shared her knowledge about the island with us. Upon arrival coffee and water was available, which is a nice gesture.

The apartment was right in the centre of Gaios, just back from the main street so that it was very quiet at night, however with wonderful views down to the water. Paola met us on arrival and was so welcoming. The facilities offered at the apartment were superb.

We could not fault the property, it had everything we wanted and more.
