We absolutely loved our stay, extremely clean and comfortable. Marisa is a fantastic host and went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. Very quaint, traditional Sicilian style with lovely modern touches and in a great location. Would definitely recommend. We’ll be back!

Such a hidden gem in the middle of Sicily! We loved how hospitable and caring the host was. We had our own parking spot, a very spacious and clean room with ensuite bathroom and even access to a second room with extra two beds. The views from the room are amazing, and the location is unbeatable. Delicious breakfast and local recommendations, thanks for making our stay in Sambuca di Sicilia so nice!

Super place. Our hostess spoke perfect English and gave us great tips about this village. We had excellent meals and drove to a beach.

Marisa is a warm and welcoming host, answering all our many questions. Her English is impeccable, having lived in the USA for more than a decade. Marisa provided a different Sicilian breakfast treat every morning- yum! The room was very large, sunny and immaculately clean. Fantastically hot water in the shower and excellent heating int the room. We extended our stay one extra night because we were so comfortable and at home at the Stanze dell’Emiro. The B&B is in the heart of the Saracen (Arab) section with a dedicated parking spot right in from of the property. Everything is in walking distance.

Everything was perfect - definitely stay here if you are coming to Sambuca di Sicilia, il piu bello di belli Borghi in Sicilia.

Marisa and her husband are wonderful! They are always there to help and are very kind. Bottled water is available downstairs. They brought amazing croissants for breakfast every morning along with pastries. The espresso from their machine was delicious. My boyfriend and I were obsessed with the croissants and the espresso machine. The room was very clean and the bed was magical. I have a sensitive back and the bed seems oddly hard, but in the morning I felt no back pain! A first for a bed that isn’t my own. Don’t be afraid of the bed, it is your friend. There is plentiful parking behind the property. Don’t mess around with the streets in front of you’re not used to squeezing though narrow streets like toothpaste.

Church is on Saturday morning and at 8:30, 8:45, and 9:00 the church rings the loud bells and it woke us up. A little warning would have been nice- I thought there was a fire! Also, the bathroom door frame for the 1 bed room was deceptively small and my 5’ 8” ft boyfriend hit his head multiple times because he’s not used to ducking so please watch your head.

We loved our host. She was very warm and took her time to make us feel welcome. Room was very big and clean. We had really nice view from balcony. It’s a a shame we couldn’t stay longer. Definitely recommending.
