For my wife and me it was the second trip to the beautiful Island of Culebra. At this time we stayed in Island Charm appartments, hosted by Heather and Alfonso. First of all - location, location, location! The three storage blue with white trims house is built on the hill facing the largest on the island Ensenada Honda inlet. The vew from our Seahorse one bedroom unit was just jaw-dropping. Particularly when you watching sunsets. Located in the middle part of the island in one of the most respectful and quiet neighborhood, the house is only few minutes away from airport, car rental, grocery stores, restaurants. Because of the central location it's about equally remote from all popular beaches. The most famous Flamenco Beach is only 10 minutes away by car or a golf cart, which is the number one choice of getting around among the guests of Culebra. Playa Tamarindo, known for the snorkeling with turtles and stingrays is even closer. The appartment itself was beautifully decorated with accent in seahorse themes. Everything inside was meticulously spotless. We were impressed by the 5-star hotel style bodywash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers, filled with high quality toiletries in the shower room. Our hosts has one of the best " Customer Service Department " we met. They responded fast and efficiently to the few requests were made. The unit is equipped with its own wireless internet router. So the signal was always strong and steady what allowed us easily to browse the web, to communicate and even to do some work remotely. We liked the modern kitchen equipment and the dishware provided. All together we had a perfect accommodation and we are hopping for the opportunity to stay in the Island Charm the next year again. Surely we strongly recommend it to anybody! P.S. The only suggestion we can make is to add a small dish drying rack for the kitchen countertop.

Heather and Alfonso were very helpful and accommodating. They helped us with the directions that finally brought us in the right location.

The place have an amazing view. If you want a quiet place with a perfect view this is the place. They have kitchen with all you need, the bathroom with everything you need. Very clean. Perfect view.

The only thing that made us no so happy is that to go to culebras is a big problem. The ferry transportation is very poor. The ferry was half empty and the cashier doesn't want to sell us tikets because she tell us that it's full. We wait 3 hours for next ferry and we lost one vacay day only for that. Also to came back to home the ferry was broken and we wait 5 hours for next ferry. The only way to enjoy a real vacay relax is by private transportation or airplane tiket, and is too expensive.

We chose to take the short flight from Ceiba to Culebra instead of the ferry. There’s an excellent view of the bay from Island Charm and the rooms were clean and modern. I recommend breakfast at the Black Flamingo, lunch at Dee’s Garden, and dinner at the Dingy Dock. Rent a golf cart instead of a Jeep.

The only thing that could have made our visit better is more time on the island.

We arrived at Culebra on the evening ferry (around 8:45 PM) and planned to take a taxi to Island Charm Culebra. Unfortunately, there were no taxis waiting at the ferry terminal and none of the taxi drivers answered their phones when we tried to call the numbers posted around the terminal. Alfonso the property manager saved us by coming to pick us up. Thanks, Alfonso! Place was really clean. Better than we expected.

I liked communication with the host, the ocean view from the bed and the space overall.

The cats that were roaming around was a problem since it prevented us from opening the door and enjoy the spring breeze since they can come in

Very little dishes for food. 3 big plates, 3 small, only one of them can be used in MW... A big pan was not clean. In the very early morning roosters didn't let us sleep :)

Super clean and comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were small but spacious. Good use of space. Overlooked the island which was beautiful.

The apartment is close to the airport, great location, it has a beautiful view and everything that you need for a great place to relax and enjoy Culebra. Owners were quick to respond, Alfonso provided useful assistance during our stay. There are beach chairs, cooler and beach towels available, a plus when traveling to Culebra, so pack light. AC works great, two coffee makers and coffee filters available. Free parking on the street.

Although we followed google map to find the place, it took a while, do not expect a sign at the front reading "Island Charm Culebra" (this would help), Calls to the owners during check in at 3 PM went to mailbox which was full. Non-refundable once booked - clearly stated during reservation. I made a mistake booking 5 nights instead of 4 and even though it was 2 months ahead and within 24 hrs of booking, no refunds. Internet was erratic, it did not work when we arrived, they fixed it but it still kept going off service at random times.
