The Alena Resort a Pramana Experience

Everything, bushy and quiet. All the things you think Ubud is and some.

The hotel yard itself is small and hardly any walkable spaces inside but it wasn't too much of a big deal.

Everything was wonderful at this lovely boutique resort. From the moment that you arrive to the day that you depart, the staff was always very gracious and individually wonderful. They showed the efforts and listen to all the requests. The property was beautifully decorated, always clean and had a wonderful spacious layout that made you feel that you were the only guests there . Two beautiful pools , a lovely spa , great masseuses and a terrific restaurant with yummy food ! The staff was wonderful from the hotel manager Dewa to the front of the house gracious Swari. All of the staff were so wonderful in their own way. Anya,to the terrific staff in the restaurant,, a chef that greets you to Pande Adi , Buda, Listya, Madi and Ayu , thank you for the Bali hospitality !

Overall not much to say that we didn’t like. It was more about what we loved about this boutique five star resort with all wonderful amenities and gracious staff !

We honestly cannot fault The Alena Resort in any way. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcomed so warmly and genuinely felt part of the Alena family, even inviting us to their own 10th anniversary celebrations. Every single staff member was absolutely beautiful, so warm, kind, attentive and always happy to help. Communication was incredibly easy, and the team went above and beyond to help us organise everything we needed. They made our honeymoon and my birthday such an unforgettable experience, and we are so incredibly grateful for all the little touches that made our stay so special. We were always greeted with a smile, constantly checked on to see if we needed anything and we never had to worry. The restaurant was amazing, the food was delicious, room service was always exceptional, and the spa was absolutely beautiful. You could truly feel how much the staff care about their guests. There is an array of activities and cultural traditions you can take part in. We especially loved the full moon dinner with the traditional Balinese dancing. We have stayed at many places around the world, but the level of genuine hospitality we experienced at The Alena was something really special. We left feeling like we were saying goodbye to family rather than simply leaving a resort and so sad to leave. Thank you to the entire Alena team for making our honeymoon and my birthday so memorable. We will absolutely be coming back and would recommend The Alena Resort to anyone visiting Bali!
