Enjoyed a drink in the bar in the evening, including Paul’s own limoncello. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order, very flavoursome- all local produce from named suppliers and homemade marmalade.
Nothing.

Family room was spacious and well equipped
The bar area seemed a little untidy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the cooked breakfast was excellent with good portions! The rooms were quiet and towels changed each day. The shower was powerful and good.
The weather had cooled down after a heatwave, but the small double room was still hot despite having two fans. The glasses in the room looked "grubby" and the overall feel was that the room was not as clean as it could have been. The skirting board in the bathroom was particularly dirty. We had two single fruit gin and tonics, and some peanuts in a bowl each and the price we thought was a bit much at £25.50
