Gli ospiti godranno sicuramente di una vacanza indimenticabile in questa casa a cupola completamente arredata, con 6 camere da letto e 5 bagni, seduta su un terreno di quasi 2 acri. Le parole e le immagini difficilmente possono descrivere questa casa veramente magica. La casa in sé è un vero gioiello - davvero una volta nella vita di una casa che il famoso architetto - Buckminster Fuller, lui stesso - è stato in passato. Un sogno architettonico che farà sembrare qualsiasi vecchia casa quadrata come una noia.
Il cantiere e il paesaggio è imbattibile e comprende stagni di rana, cascate, torrenti e ponti. Molti che vengono, mentre sono seduti fuori nel patio ad ascoltare le rane gracchiare e guardare i salici soffiare nella brezza - dimmi che l'ultima cosa che immaginerebbero è che si trovano in un sobborgo di Minneapolis - piuttosto che sono in un resort nei boschi del nord.
La parte incredibile delle cupole è che una volta che esci dalla nostra fortezza nascosta, esci in una città con tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno e in 5 minuti a piedi potresti trovarti a sorseggiare un rinfrescante granite al parco statale regionale del Bryant Lake, che ha una fantastica spiaggia libera, parco, sentieri escursionistici, Frisbee Disc Golf e molto altro! Affittare una barca a pale o fare escursioni sui sentieri della natura ..... questo parco ha tutto.

Lasciatemi iniziare dicendo che non hai giocato il miglior gioco di nascondino finché non hai giocato in questa casa. Oh gli angoli e le fessure sono così affascinanti e divertenti! Ancora una volta, le foto non rendono giustizia.
Quando cammini nella porta principale sei accolto con una vista come nessun altro. Vedrai il muro curvo, la bella cucina e la formazione delle finestre che ti lasceranno senza fiato. Mentre sbircia ulteriormente, noti che sembra essere l'altra cupola e non vedi l'ora di andare ad esplorare! Non dimenticare la tua mappa di Harry Potter, perché potresti semplicemente perderti! ;)
Appena entri in cucina, ti accorgerai presto che è perfetto per cenare ed è dotato di tutto ciò di cui potresti aver bisogno. Ha una nuovissima gamma di gas Viking, nuova lavastoviglie, nuovo lavello da cucina e rubinetti, nuovo doppio forno e microonde e un enorme frigorifero. I posti a sedere per pranzare si trovano con il tavolo nella cucina stessa, quattro sgabelli da bar e l'isola della cucina o si dirigono verso il nostro tavolo di vetro all'italiana nella sala da pranzo.
Se hai voglia di salire la scala a chiocciola nella cupola 1, che si accede dal soggiorno (che è arredata con tutto il necessario, tra cui un camino a legna a 3 lati e tutto il legno che si possa chiedere) .... arriverete al master suite.
La camera da letto principale / principale ha un bel letto king size temperato e il bagno ha una grande vasca da bagno europea.
Mentre le restanti camere sono arredate con letti di schiuma di memoria di dimensioni normali, la camera per gli ospiti al piano principale (cupola 2) ha un comodo letto matrimoniale, tutto molto comodo per dormire un sacco di gente. Anche i bambini soppalco dormono 2 persone per soppalco su materassi di schiuma di memoria queen size e un sacco di materassi ad aria di lusso per ospitare più persone.
Questa casa è piena di amore e vita. Nella cupola 2 abbiamo un castello gonfiabile insieme a una cucina suocera - piena di giochi da tavolo e persino un mini palco per talent show e spettacoli!
Gli ospiti possono godersi un pomeriggio di divertimento e relax tra cascate e ruscelli (escluso l'inverno) o magari divertirsi in veranda per 3 stagioni e ascoltare le rane cantare, sentire la brezza che passa attraverso ... è davvero una fetta di paradiso.
La casa è inoltre dotata di una palestra con cyclette, tapis roulant, pesi liberi, molti specchi e balletti e bar pull-up.
Giocare a golf? Prova a giocare a golf nel nostro corridoio mettendo verde ...... questo posto ha tutto. Ci sono anche 2 eccellenti campi da golf pubblici a dieci minuti di auto.
Questa casa è perfetta per famiglie o ritiri aziendali. Offre tantissimo spazio per uscire, dormire, dentro e fuori!
Il cortile ha un tiki bar e un set da pranzo. Fai una passeggiata in giardino e vai a prendere alcune verdure fresche se lo desideri! Nota: la piscina che vedi nella foto è uno stagno artificiale, NON una piscina. L'acro posteriore ha una vasta area per tende, sedie, una partita di calcio, attività di gruppo, ecc.

The “Circle House” was everything we thought it’d be and more. My family had the best time ever! The adult kids were entertained just as much as my grandson. The slide and the costumes were an absolute hoot. I did add a crab hat and claws to your chest of fun. We had more than enough space to spread out and those who needed downtime had no problem finding a place to be. “The Attic” provided lots of entertainment for George to scare his Aunts & Uncles as they slept! Your kitchen was well stocked and supplied. We found everything we needed. It was so nice to have my family all together albeit for a short time. Thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your Dome Home family. We will return!

Our family of 15 (ages 1 to 70) had a marvelous stay at the doubledomes despite the challenge of record high temps in the mid-nineties The house was everything we expected and more. Getting around the upstairs rooms was a little confusing at first but the seven children managed to successfully play musical loft beds (a little hot up there though). The property landscaping is gorgeous with the pond, mimi-waterfall, giant willows and abundant flowers plus plenty of outdoor seating. We took advantage of Bryant Lake (literally across the street) as an easy way to beat the heat. Golf at Glen Lake was great fun as well. Our 5 year old granddaughter Marlo summed up the stay when she proclaimed "I never want to leave this house"!

Our group of guys have known each other since childhood, and we go golfing together somewhere in the country every year. This year, we came to Minnesota. Finding a place with so many beds/bathrooms is incredibly difficult, but this place was AWESOME!! We had so much fun enjoying the property after a day of golf. We even had a private chef come to the house for a 5-course dinner. The owner is the best! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
FULL DISCLOSURE: the slides are NOT just for kids!! even our chef and his staff had to try them out!
You will not be disappointed if you stay here!!

So beautiful, and so much to enjoy! Our multi-generational family group has stayed in VRBOs from Silver Spring to Seattle. This was the best of them all.

We have rented several vacation homes over the years and this one tops the list. So unique and interesting. Home is very well stocked from the kitchen to toys and games for the kids. Even a zip line. We enjoyed the Solo Stove on upper deck and fire pit by the pond. Lots of room. Teens loved the screened area with the hanging chairs. The slides were a big hit. The owner was responsive. Dishwasher did not work and we were given a generous compensation. Also, close to a lake and about 20 minutes from all attractions. Would highly recommend.

Our grandkids named this fun home The Dream House, and it lived up to the name! We had a wonderful time! I could barely pry myself away from the shady, cool yard and all the fun things to do. The kids headed out there first thing in the morning and played for hours.
Coming from the heat of Texas, we were in heaven!
Sarah was so easy to reach and answered my texts right away. :)

We stayed with our four married children and six grand children, 16 people in total. While it was "base camp" for other activities, we had plenty to do just being in the home. Some facilities weren't even touched by us, as there was so much to do. It was a happy stay for all. We thoroughly enjoyed the house.

This place is everything you think it will be from the description, plus more. It's insane, in a good way. We had 12-14 people staying here and never felt crowded. If you have kids under the age of 12 they will LOVE this place.

The house is such a unique experience that everyone in our party absolutely adored. It's very clean, and everything is such a short drive away which was perfect for our group with children. Sarah was great with quick and helpful responses. We will definitely try and stay again if we're back in town.

A fantastic home! Incredibly well stocked! My wife and I own two VRBOs and we stock them incredibly well and were stunned to discover one that may have been stocked even better than ours!!!!
The home was very clean and a blast. The slides, the zipline, the outdoor firepit, the indoor gas fire, the theater room, the theater stage..... an incredibly amazing home perfect for a large group. We were here for our middle daughter's graduation from the University of Minnesota with her Doctorate as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. We had our four children, their spouses, three grandchildren, a mother-in-law, her husband's sister and several of her best friends all staying together and we did not feel the least bit crowded.
Highly recommended!!!! We will be back for a future Christmas visit withour entire family in the future.

What a fun property! Our family stayed here for 3 nights and just had a fantastic time. There is so much to explore in the house and the kids had a blast going down the slide, having a magic show, watching movies in the theater room, mini golf, and more. We came in the winter and watching the snow fall through the domed windows was magical. We had a fire going in the 3 sided fireplace almost all day and really just enjoyed the space. We hope to come back in the warmer months as it looks like there is just as much to explore outside as there was inside. Excellent communication with owner which made the stay smooth and easy. Highly recommend a stay at the double domes!

Our stay at the Double Domes home over Christmas was amazing! A perfect week for everyone in the family to enjoy the holidays (13 of us, ranging in age from 1 to 80)! We spent most of the time relaxing by the fireplace watching the toddler run around and cooking meals together in the huge kitchen. Watched football and movies in the hidden theater room, family karaoke night on the stage, best hide and seek games ever, building a snowman and playing ping-pong. Every room was an adventure and the whole family wants to go back again in the summer. The location is great with restaurants/markets only minutes away and the house is hidden away from the road. We even saw a family of deer wandering through the yard.
Sarah was an amazing host - making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! Highly recommend staying here!!!!!

We stayed for the weekend with three adults and 6 little 9 year-old girls for a 10th birthday party. This house was everything. Absolutely no surprises. Everything we could have possibly needed was there. The description is great, but the house exceeded expectations. We had SO MUCH FUN! It's perfect for kids! There are two fireplaces, and the wood-burning one was all set up and ready for a fire. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the house was clean and well-cared for. There are tons of games, supplies, dress up costumes, blankets, pillows, cooking supplies, movies, everything. The property manager responded to all questions immediately, which was a very pleasant surprise. This is a magical house that is located close to pretty much everything, yet in a unique, tree-covered neighborhood. We will absolutely be staying again!

Can't say enough great things about this property, and the property manager! Unbelievable home, well stocked with evreything you might need, great kitchen and bedrooms, pristinely maintained. Incredible grounds, so peaceful and many different spaces to hang out or play. Terrific location, easy access to local attractions and a beach nearby. Property manager provides everything you need, and need to know, to make your stay great and cares about their guests, responding quickly to questions. A 5-Star experience all around.

Awesome Property & Owner
I’m trying to figure out how to write a review that does this house justice. We try and find a different place every year for our family to get together for a week in the summer (we are spread out in the country so it’s a valued time). It can be difficult to find a place that satisfies all age groups (1-65), and this place is absolutely it!! The house itself is insane and perfect, the landscaping is heaven, and then there’s the host… Sarah is INCREDIBLE!! From start to finish she was available and very kind, everything you could possibly need she has at the house, she has thought of everything!! We forgot some supplies for the baby and she readily gave us a high chair, pack and play, and baby monitor. She’s quick to respond and never seemed put out by even the smallest question. If you are considering a family vacation anywhere in this area DONT SKIP on this one, it’s perfect.

We loved our stay here. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were magnificent. We enjoyed board games on the deck, badmitten and putting tournaments, and fires in the evening. We were lucky to have been greeted by Sarah, who was an exceptionally gracious host! Hope to visit this unique property again in the future!

I stayed at the Double Domes with my small corporate group (eight adults), and then with my family (me, my husband, and kids ages 18 mos, 3, and 6). It could not have been more perfect for both uses!
The Double Domes was exactly as pictured and described but there was SO MUCH MORE to it once we arrived. My first guest and I ran around screaming and laughing because it was such a delight. The house has many cozy and flexible areas for meeting, chatting, and relaxing. There are many hidden delights (like the screened porch!) where people can chill and chat. This place would be perfect for a girls' weekend, a book club retreat, or a tight-knit friend and family group. It's also great for entertaining—we had a chef come in and cook a lovely dinner for the whole team. The house had everything he needed to pull it off. It is fully stocked! After we were together all day, my guests could go to their rooms and enjoy privacy, beautiful views out the windows, and very comfortable beds (everyone raved!).
When my corporate group left, my family showed up and the house was just as perfect ... maybe even more so! My kids LOVED IT. They were zipping down the slide, jumping on the trampoline, putting on shows on the stage (complete with costume trunk!), playing ping pong, playing mini golf, and watching movies in the theater. They scrambled up and down the stairs to the adorable hidden loft in the bedrooms. We even hit the beach at Bryant Lake Park, just across the street. They were so tired by the end of each day that they went right to bed and slept beautifully, leaving the adults to relax.
Finally, a word about Sarah, the host. She is perfect in every way. She is so warm and welcoming and responsive and passionate about this house, and now I know why. I love this place and I love our host. Sarah is the best of the best of the very best.
I have never been happier with a rental (and I have done this kind of retreat/family split at several other homes across the country before). Rent this house immediately!

So much fun!
We had an awesome week at the double domes! It is completely set up to walk right in and have fun. It's hard to pick which room/space was the most loved - the zipline, the swing porch, the SLIDES, the movie room, the couches which were great for curling up with a book, the kitchen which had everything we needed...or all of it because it was a perfect venue for sardines. And Sarah had everything set up to go, plus was easy to reach for questions. Absolutely awesome visit.

Fantastic house and Fantastic Host
Our kids (ages 5,3,1) only stopped running around when we forced them to eat and sleep over our three day stay. They had a blast playing and sleeping in the lofts, going down the indoor and outdoor slides, swinging on the "indoor" swings (even though it was 32 degrees out there), going on the zip line (the adults loved that too!), bouncing on the super bouncy trampoline, and playing mini golf inside. Sarah (the host) made sure we knew what to do with the very complete guest book she has made which includes all sorts of directions, troubleshooting, and overall places to visit nearby. When we had a question about the window shades she immediately texted back and gave us a solution. When we forgot something there, she was very accommodating. Fantastic house and fantastic host!

This property is absolutely stunning and whimsical and amazing. Every possible detail you can think of to make the stay smooth was taken care of! Beds were so comfortable, the million amenities were even better than we could have imagined, zip line was so fun, there was a keyboard right next to the stage so that the kids could have a sound track, shampoo and conditioner and soap and dishwashing pods and laundry detergent,
Logs were so easy to use in the fireplace, ...
Even the salt containers for the ice outside were on wheels and with easy to use containers to spread salt! Who thinks of that? The owner was kind and so responsive. Thank you to the Kallal family for sharing such an amazing and truly magical place. Our family feels truly blessed to have spent time there!

Great family home
Thank you so much to Sarah and her family for placing this home on vrbo; its truly a Minnesota treasure. If you're wondering if this house is for you, all I can say is you need to try it. It has a certain magic and warmth about it that most rentals do not have.
Our kids loved this house, not just the slides, but the adventure they could have each and every day. They could play hide and seek, create 'works of art' play games, read countless books or just enjoy the wildlife just outside the window. The house was also really well stocked for your everyday needs. They even left us flowers and a small gift as a welcome to their home. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories :-)

As we drove up to the house our kids squealed, “This is better than Christmas!” Our stay was memorable and magical and Sarah took care of every single detail big and small. We’ve rented dozens of rentals over the years and this is definitely our favorite!

Double Domes
Fabulously unique property. One of a kind. Perfect for up to six couples or families. So much to do on site or locally. Outdoor spaces are beautiful.

Our large multigenerational family enjoyed a wide variety of activities without leaving the property. From putting challenges to countless trips down the indoor tube slide to skims across the zip line everyone found their favorite.
Sarah was a very accommodating and responsive hostess- we felt very well taken care of.

Celebration of anniversary
We spent 3 nights at the double dome house with our adult children and spouses and 6 grandkids as a family activity in celebration of our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. There are so many activities to keep everyone entertained. The grandkids all thought the stay was too short. Don’t think we’ve heard that before! They range in age from 11-14. They loved everything, including the indoor and outdoor slides, the movie theater room with the secret door, the table tennis, the putting green, but their favorites were the pop-a-shot basketball game (where beating grandpa was a hit!), the trampoline and the zip-line. Rooms are large with plenty of spaces if anyone needed some quiet time. The outdoor patios, ponds, decks, sitting areas, gardens were very peaceful and pretty. Sarah is a great owner and easy to communicate with. We loved it!!!

Loved our stay in the Double Domes
This place is incredible. It is so unique and the owners have thought of everything to make the property fun and comfortable. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far the best. Our kids had the best time with the indoor slide and the costumes and stage and did not want to leave. We loved the high ceilings in the main room and all of the thoughtful touches and amenities provided. The property is very secluded, but still close to everything. The lush landscaping and beautiful flowers made us glad we visited in summer. We had such a wonderful visit and were all sad when our time there ended. We would love to come back!

This property was magical - from the beautiful architecture to the whimsical rooms, there is something for everyone! Our family stayed in July 2021 and can’t rate the Double Dome Home high enough. The beds were clean and cozy, the house nicely maintained and the kitchen well accommodated for your cooking needs.
We particularly enjoyed the meticulously landscaped yard with ponds, trampoline and zip line. The home is very kid friendly with toys and child proofed safety features. The older kids enjoyed the tree house and movie theater!
It is a quick walk to the Bryant Lake beach where we brought the host provided paddle board and beach equipment. The hosts have paid attention to every detail and made us feel at home.
