Amazing value place with comfortable bedroom, good wifi and hot showers.

It’s a little bit of a walk in (15/20) but no problem if you have scooter/grab.

The hospitality of the owners was amazing. Katut helped me find a supermarket nearby and dropped me near the sim card place. She also gave me full information about the facilities. The room was clean, the AC works perfectly. Wifi is absolutely fine for work. There’s also a shared kitchen.

Very good location and super sweet owners! It was walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Ubud centre and even closer to some very good local warungs. Ubud is such a nice area, and this was a quiet place to chill after a busy day in the area. Very nice place if you are on a budget like us as backpackers :) they even have a little kitchen to cook in and drinking water to fill up your bottles.

It was quite humid and hot (as it is in Indonesia) so sleeping was more difficult. There also were a lot of ants in our room (we are in nature ofcourse), so if that doesn't bother you, this is the place.

Wayan and Ketut are amazing hosts who will do anything in their power to make you feel comfortable. The room is super clean and new with clean toilet and hot shower 24/7. Super comfortable bed with an efficient Aircon and a lovely patio. Ketut can make you yummy home cooked meal if you don’t wanna go out to eat and she charges very minimal too for it. They also rent scooters at a reasonable price. I booked for a few days, but ended up staying for two weeks. This place is around 1km from the Yogabarn and about 2 kms from the monkey forest area. I will definitely come back to stay here for a long term soon, because I love Wayan and Ketut that much.

I loved the location of Pangkung Sari! The neighborhood that it was situated in was lovely, quite and residential. It was about a 20 min walk to Ubud Center where mosy of the tourist attractions were but I really enjoyed the walks there. It felt very safe and welcoming. Great value for an accomedation in Ubud! The family staff was also very friendly and helpful!

The owner was lovely and friendly, she organised the Mt Batur sunrise hike for us at a very reasonable price. They also set up mosquito traps around the rooms after it had rained. Location is good if you have a bike.

Pangkung Sari is the best homestay I ever stayed at. It has been my second stay there and I will definitely come back again. Ketut and Wayan are some of the kindest and most welcoming people and always happy to help. Furthermore, Ketut cooks amazing and the apartments are in a really nice, green and calm environment, only a few minutes by foot from the Yoga Barn (500m) and only a few minutes by scooter from Ubud center.

Room was neat and clean. It's very close to Ubud center. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I used the kitchen shown in the photo and it was very convenient to have. Really enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. :)

Sometimes no hot water

smells make me almost vomit, bugs all over the room (half-hand size bug was on right after my pillow), another family at house right beside room makes crazy noise all the time (they even hammering something at 6:00 am in the morning so I slept only 2 hours and get the hell out of that place.), nothing looks clean and most of all I feel like this room draining all of my energy. I have no ideas why this guest house rating is so high. Please avoid it.

We received a lovely warm welcome and the rooms were basic but clean. We were within walking distance of the centre of Ubud and Monkey Forest and Ketut and her family were very helpful in giving us ideas for cheap local options for dinner. We also booked Ketut's brother to drive us when we went surfing and to take us to the ferry to Java. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

It is very cheap! We came because of the great reviews here. It is adequate and passable but not great.

Rooms are musty and damp. They need to give the rooms a good clean and maybe a fresh coat of paint. It is very basic but then again for the price you get what you pay for. The owners and neighbours start making noise around 6am sweeping and talking. They really need to be quieter.

the location was perfect for getting into the centre of Ubud! we could also rent a bike from the homestay which was very convenient :) the room was really clean and the bed was comfy! the staff were also so lovely and helpful! I would definitely stay here again, great value for money.

there was no air con only a fan so it got quite hot in the room even if it was cooler outside. Also the doors to the room were not great, it took a while to lock and unlock them because I think they were slightly broken. but this can easily be fixed.

Really kind and amazing people, they took so much care to welcome me and my dogs. They are really genuine and I am so happy to meet people like this. They looked after my dog while I picked up a puppy from the vet. The room was very clean. Some things need fixing, but for the price you should not expect too much. They have a very friendly and playful dog too and she was good with my dogs (and me:) ).

The home owners and the location! I went to stay one week, and ended up staying over a month. Ketut and Wayan will make sure you have everything you need and help where they can. They have really sweet dogs that once they know you, will wait for you at the door and come over for cuddles all the time. The place is just outside the center which makes it easy to get anywhere but is also nice and quiet. I had an amazing stay and hopefully will be back.

Not the most luxurious, it's in the nature so there will be some small ants/bugs in your home.

it was very noisy with children and dogs always barking. I understand it’s a family home/homestay but I was sick for a few days and I couldn’t relax as there was so much noise from children and dogs. the shower took many minutes to get hot, sometimes it didn’t work at all

The location had air conditioning which was not expected. Cleaner than most places and the owners and staff were fantastic.

Very nice room for a cheap price. The host were very friendly too. They have a common kitchen and free water for every guests.

The owners of the guesthouse are very responsive and will help with any question. They will tell you where to go and what to see. A delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner is prepared. Great people and a place full of strength and silence. All distant attractions are an hour away by bike. And waterfalls are generally 15-20 minutes away. Ubud to the center for 20 minutes on foot, on a bike for 7-10 minutes depending on traffic jams. I recommend this place for 3-4 nights, in order to plunge into the heart of the skeleton, to see the artisans and their works. Definitely worth living here.
