Cosy feel, safe, clean, has all the facilities you could need. Awesome location - great views and a short walk into the town centre.
Parking at and near the lodge is very limited, had to park 5 minute walk away.

Killer view from the balcony. Shower was super hot and strong…..the best I encountered in my travels about NZ. Very much backpacker accommodation with a shared kitchen and common room. I booked a room with ensuite, and the bathroom was a very decent size.
Killer hill to climb to get there if walking, but you know, no doubt good exercise.

Near the town centre.
There was not enough ventilation in the rooms, and they had a very stuffy smell whenever you walked in. There were also very few cutlery sets available, so sometimes you had to wait for someone else to finish eating before you could use them.
