Die Unterkunft wirkte sehr neu und sauber. Die Besonderheit hier war, dass man bis Abends 23 Uhr kostenlos Bier zapfen konnte im Gemeinschaftsraum. Das führt natürlich zu Gesprächen mit aderen Leuten. Außerdem gab es kostenlose Waschmaschienen und Trockner, was bei längeren Rundreisen sehr hilft

Excellent facilities, very clean ans comfortable rooms, free tea and coffee is a nice touch.

Very clean guesthouse with easy check in. It is just a short walk from the main area, with a supermarket 6mins walk away. The rooms all have their own AC and towels are provided. They also have toothbrushes and toothpaste sets for free. Showers and toilets were very clean. Also, free flowing beer and drinks like hot and cold coffee, tea, water. Kitchen was small but clean and it wasn't too busy.

It would be good if they had an elevator as the 2-person rooms were on the 2nd floor.

Lovely room, great facilities, and friendly staff. Uji's sightseeing locations were only a short walk away to explore during the day, and it was nice and quiet at night.

The owner was amazing :) He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable, down to calling local onsen and sento to confirm if they were tattoo-friendly and lending us umbrellas when it poured. Rooms were comfortable, and the free beer/coffee/tea was a nice touch. Would happily visit again!

Very cozy house in Uji. Staff nice and really helpful. The room was big and clean. I was afraid to leave! Uji is a wonderful place to visit and to stay and Cha gan ju Tei House is the perfect Guesthouse. Thank you 😄

We had some difficulties with the language, but that was not a big deal. Everything was fine here

- The host was so friendly and even gave us dinner recommendations with directions - The room was good size, with space for our luggage and room to sleep - The futon and pillows were very comfortable - The bathroom area was spacious and clean - Free beer, free parking, and free breakfast at a nearby restaurant where we picked up some omiyage - I would absolutely stay here again!
