YAYS Amsterdam North by Numa

The property is located in an emerging precinct of North Amsterdam. It is only a 15-minute walk to the free ferry to Amsterdam Central Station.

Complaints are handled by a bot that doesn’t seem to do anything more than go around in circles. The inability to open a window given the warm Autumnal temperatures in Europe meant the building was constantly hot inside. Portable fans were available for use in the apartment and they stayed on overnight but didn’t reduce the air temperature much and the “help” bot was unable to explain how to turn down the underfloor heating, set at 25 degrees. The apartment description also didn’t state there was no lift in the building. There were a number of lights in the dining and bathroom areas that weren’t working and it took several attempts over a number of days to communicate to the “help” bot that the lights needing fixing.

La pulizia

Posto molto bello curato e pulito

Cleaned, fully equipped, a lot of amenities, quiet, good location.

Very hot at night time

It was clean. Location is good, if you want to stay in calm area.

There were no towels at all, which were provided only next day, at 10 AM. Because of that we skipped the whole morning waiting, but also - had issues evening before. Location is clean, but quite worn out. Also, separate topic is shower which is without any walls, o courtains, so after taking the shower you have all the bathroom (including toilet) with a wet floor. Even after towels were provided, there was no bath floor towel included.
