This place was a truly magical experience for me. As soon as I got to the territory of the inn, it felt like a different world. Very peaceful and warm, a perfect place to slow down and connect to your inner self. The rooms there are spacious and full of light. Unique wooden furniture, couldn't take my eyes off it. They have a small pond there with fish and flowers nearby. And at least one squirrel, which, if lucky enough, you will sometimes hear running on the trees right outside your window. Everything inside the rooms and at the outside area is made with love and care. The same attitude you get from the people who work there, who are very friendly, helpful and extremely polite. They take care of every need of yours. This is a kind of place you want to come back to while you're still there, this is how me and my friend felt. And I know for sure we'll be back there some day.

Small homemade individual Breakfast was delicious

This inn was lovely, and so central in the heart of Shuhe, which is a lot quieter and more serene than nearby Lijiang ancient town. The staff are amazing and one of the staff spoke excellent English, and all were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast each day was amazing (vegetarian rice noodles, corn, sweet potato, cakes, tea, coffee, etc). The Yunnan specialty coffee was particularly good. We felt very welcome and at home, and always loved coming back in the afternoon to our sun-soaked room with lots of natural light. We will come back!

It must be the first time ever that I rate “perfect” all the way for an hotel! Above all what you expect from a star hotel, there’s a soul in there that is not faked. There’s real love put in the beautiful flower arrangements, in the tea making or in the smile that greets you every-time you cross the entrance. The owner (Miss Ji Xiang) or her amazing staff (Miss Wang) are so sweet and take your requests so adamantly, efficiently and with that additional touch of real will to make your stay unforgettable. Get there, relax, enjoy and know that you’ll be taken care of in the best possible way!
