It was situated right in the heart of Florence, which was perfect for us. The best part of this apartment was the terrace, amazing views. The apartment was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. Enough storage for our stay of 5 nights. They supply you with a bottle of water, a few tea bags, a few sachets of instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar and olive oil.

Although there is nothing you can do about the amount of stairs to the apartment, I think it should be highlighted VERY clearly on the booking page about details of the apartment. It is NOT suitable for anyone with walking issues and for people suffering with (COPD) chronic lung issues, especially with carrying your luggage up them. When it says 3 flights, that could mean anything. It should say how many stairs (78). I also do not like the fact they charge 135 euros for the cleaning of the apartment and then there is also a tip jar for the cleaner! Why they charge at all beats me, considering the rate we paid for the apartment. There is no oven to clean (just a combination microwave) and just two beds, two bathrooms and the small open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Just be aware, one of the bedrooms has very low beams over the bed, not to be forgotten if you get up in the night in the dark to go to the bathroom.

The location was central

Getting in through the front door was the first nightmare (no code sent to my phone number as I arrived before the person who had booked, despite this being arranged beforehand), discovering the apartment was 78 steps up (carrying heavy suitcases, no lift) and not getting access to the door keys through the key box was the final straw. 10 phone calls to the Mamo office later (the specific number given for the apartment was an Italian voicemail) and someone turned up after 90 hot minutes to let us in. There was no logo on the front door (as they insisted), the key box didn't open- and the two sets of keys we'd been promised weren't there either. The office gave us absolutely minimal assistance, I had to be firm and persistent to get in. There was also a pile of dirty linen left on the top step by the apartment door. The apartment looks like it's been (minimally)developed from a loft. The second bedroom is covered by a curtain, so no privacy or space. I think we had 6 hangers between me and my husband and the wardrobe is badly designed (if that's the right word!) for anything other than a jacket. The main bedroom you can hardly stand up in with a massive waste of space under the eaves Only 4 decent sized cups, not enough crockery or cutlery. One tea towel. The so called 'Welcome Pack' only gave you tourist info and nothing about how things work in the apartment, including where to throw the rubbish. Really poor service all round and very mean basic provisions for 4 adults.

Wonderful location and had two bedroom/two bathroom, living area and a small kitchen. The best part was the rooftop terrace! Air conditioning was great however had to climb 78 stairs to get to the apartment and there was no elevator. Althought the stairs would not deter us from staying there again!

This appartment is really in the middle of Florence. Within a 10 minutes walk you reach almost everything: The cathedrale, Santa Croce, Uffici and more. Directly behind the door is a small place to grab some breakfast or have a beer in an Irish pub. But you also find Italian restaurants nearby of course. As the appartment is quite spacey, you should have enough room for up to 4 people. Enjoy the evening on the wonderfol rooftop terrace with a view, have a glass of wine - it‘s perfect. The great valet parking service takes care of your care and returns it directly to the front door.

Loved the design of the space, the roof terrace, the modern bathrooms, so much of it! The location was absolutely ideal too. The views from all of the bedrooms and the roof terrace were amazing. The apartment came with a lot of kitchenware (glasses, plates, etc.), once we found them!

Quite a few steps to get to the top, but that's expected if you want the stellar views. Would have loved a bit more instruction on how to use the key (it was a bit tough to figure out first so we spent a while thinking we were locked out) and we couldn't find the glasses initially. Nothing that really impacted our stay though!

The apartment is wonderful. It is clean, tidy and decorated tastefully. The furnishings are all comfortable and of a high quality. There are a few stairs to climb to reach the apartment but when you do the views that it boasts from the terrace are spectacular. We would definitely stay here again, the staff are very friendly and easily reachable if you need them.

Wonderful location, walking distance from everything. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, but you get a great roof terrace in return! Beds sturdy but comfortable. Very kind and responsive staff.
