This was the second time we stayed in Mestia Residence and it was still the same pleasure :
Big room with plenty equipments , even slippers.
Wonderful view on the village of Mestia and all the towers , just across the river.
The situation is more quiet than downtown and only 15 min walking.
Superbe big terrasse , a yard with a place with BBQ. We left our car there during 5 days for free.
The wifi works perfectly well.
The hike going to Ushguli is just across the road.
Wonderful buffet breakfast. The best we had in Géorgia
All that for a most reasonable price

Fantastic hosts, able to communicate both in English and Russian. Very helpful and informative. And a farewell bottle of homemade wine!

The owners are the perfect people. It was the 2d visit to Mestia Residence and everything is still perfect. The views are gorgeous, and it no so far from the airport if you prefer this kind of transport. I fully recommended this place!

We like everything, espetially overall hospilatity and friendly attitide. Tasty food , nice appartments, absolutly SUPER mattress (it was a special pleasure to lay down after a long day)))
And the attitude to the pets - we travelled with a dog and there was not a single question about it. The hosts have 2 dogs as well and they are lovely.

Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the veranda with magnificent views of the mountains, the river and the Svansk towers.

nice room and bathroom, very cool and helpful owners (they drive us from their own good will to the center of village for marshrutka when we came back tired from the trek). Good and unexpensive breakfast (just 10 lari).

The room were neat anf clean. The owners were kind and very helpful. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. It has access to mestia river as well.

Wonderful view from Windows, Very tasty breakfasts and dinner. Owner is very helpful with planning and managing the mountains trekking.

The room (and the bathroom) is very clean and the beds are really comfortable.
The hosts are friendly and helpful, and even the language problems (we couldn´t speak neither georgian nor russian) are overcome with the technological help of google translator!
Even if for breakfast you can miss a real coffee because the only one available is the instant one, the food is very good. After a day of hiking they can also provide you with the evening meals for a supplement of 20 lari per person. We will certainly recommend to take advantage of this opportunity: the food (and the wine) are simply amazing! Gemrieli :)
A place to recommend!
If you get the room facing the river you have a beautiful view over Mestia´s towers but you should know that the rumour of the river is like a thunder and you can´t keep the window open unless you use earplugs! So if you are there in a hot summer (like we were) it could be a bit annoying!
Maybe a small nightlamp in the room could have been useful too.
