The accommodation suited my need for an affordable one month stay as I prepared my retirement application and visa extension etc. The owner Maleq spoke little English (but still far more than my non-existant Thai) and was very friendly and helpful, and helped me open a Thai bank account in Krabi town. The accommodation is central to the island and next to the main road, handy for the shops and 15mins walk from the beach. My bungalow was fairly basic, but had a/c, fan, pretty good WIFI, sink and water boiler device.

I was there in low season, so few open bars and restaurants but the beaches were good and empty, although litter strewn in places. Due to low season, there was a lot of building work and renovation going on, which was unsightly and noisy. The water pressure was very variable. Also, there were dogs roaming the area and howling when triggered by the ‘call to prayer’ from the local mosque (however, I found this to be more comical than annoying).

Sehr großes schönes Bungalow. Mückennetz und Klimaanlage vorhanden. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett! Man konnte Roller direkt Vorort ausleihen.

Calme, beauté, emplacement. La famille est adorable et attentionnée. Le Bungalow est très agréable, grand bien équipé ( choisi avec la clim). Terrasse avec hamac. "Maman" prépare de délicieux riz parfumés à emporter. Location de scooter sur place. Placé au centre de l île côte mer c'est juste parfait! Merci.

First of all there wasn’t a blanket that was comfortable to sleep with. Dogs barking all day and night. Property maintenance quite early in morning. Fridge was dirty and the wifi wasn’t great but overall you get what you pay for and was a decent short stay.
