This was an excellent stay. The most beautiful views you can imagine. The home is equipped with everything you would ever need. (Especially for children and babies). Clean and enjoyable hot tub too. The owner was very nice. We also spotted “Ellison” the elephant seal on the beach.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, dog and I enjoyed a fantastic week at this home on Whidbey island. There were beautiful views from each of the living spaces and throughout the property. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many delicious meals. The hot tub was large and situated with perfect views of puget sound. The spacious yard was beautifully landscaped. The bedrooms were large and private as they were spread on three levels. Kitchen looked out to a spacious deck with fabulous views and was beautifully equipped. The owner, John, greeted us on arrival, was a gracious host and respected our privacy. All of us left with good memories and we hope to return.

This was our first time to Whidbey Island, John’s hospitality help make the stay enjoyable. The house accommodated 13 family members with no problems. We all enjoyed the s’mores made at the fire pit, the exploration on the beach and the quiet. Thanks John for a great vacation!

John is a master of attention to detail and every little quirk of the gorgeous house is well explained, labeled etc. We could have done nothing but chill in the back yard and on the patio, enjoying the gorgeous view, abundant birds, super-tame deer, and John's lovely pet cat and dog and the numerous lovely lounging spots scattered about. We each had a favorite getaway spot. The space is very well designed for group dinners, multiple people getting breakfast at the same time, and enjoying the outdoors from indoors as well. The common areas and the lower level bedrooms do not have AC but the windows do provide good airflow, which was fine for us because the weather was perfect with temps between 55 and 77 but if it was persistently in the mid 80sor more it may have been an issue.
The handicap accessible suite on the main floor worked very well for my uncle - if there's anything that seems lacking just check with the owner and it's probably tucked away somewhere!! if not I'm sure he would make it right.
The location was fantastic- great access to Freeland, Langley, Coupeville and many great natural areas. Parking is easy even with 3-4 vehicles. There's nothing really within walking distance - you need a car, but all important needs are addressed within just a few minutes drive. The only shortcoming was that the TV isnt really made for large group movie nights. Nothing but good memories!!!

The entire property was amazing! You immediately feel relaxed when you arrive. Lots of space to hang out both inside as well as outside. The landscaping and views are beautiful. The house is very accommodating to large groups - everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and every bedroom has an attached bathroom with shower. I highly recommend and would stay here again!

This place is simply amazing. Like beyond words amazing! Once we arrived we did not want to leave. Even for dinner!! Hot tub is large and close to the house but still has water view. The steps down to the beach are a veritable great of engineering - but safe and secure! 4 bedrooms each with their own bathrooms!! Very well appointed kitchen!! Could not have been more perfect for my birthday girl's weekend!

This property exceeded our expectations!! It is beautiful, comfortable, roomy and the views are spectacular. Very well equipped. The hot tub is covered so is usable no matter the weather. The stairs to the water worked very well. They are a little steep in areas but our 3 & 4 year olds had no problem (and neither did the 68 year old!! We had a group ranging in age from 2 - 71 and it worked for all of us! You can't go wrong with this getaway. I would absolutely rent this property again.

We spent a wonderful rainy weekend at this property. Our group was 6 moms who had been friends for 10 years. The place had many bedrooms, bathrooms and pull out beds so we didn’t have to share. Lots of perfect spots to gather around and share or play cards. The home has clearly been well cared for and loved. The grounds were beautiful. So many good stories passed between us in the sitting area, on the deck or around the dining table. The kitchen was well appointed and we had serving trays, cookware galore! The checkout procedures were very detailed and extremely reasonable given the size of the home. Thank you very much for sharing your property with the VRBO community!!

We had a wellness retreat, beach and ocean was in the very close proximity which was important to us. The location of the property and view are amazing, the house was supplied with everything needed for the comfort and enjoyable stay. The host was very nice to us and let us early check in and late check out! We definitively will come back:)!

This property was like a park, absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the golf course. The house had a great view also. The only downside of this home was that we couldn't stay longer! :)

We stayed for the weekend with 7 adults and 5 kids to celebrate a milestone birthday in our family. There was more than enough beds that every person had their own comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to prepare all the meals we had planned and the dining table allowed us to seat all 12 of us together. The views were stunning and the beach (and all those stairs) were enjoyed by all. Thank you to John for the use of the golf cart so that Gramma could also enjoy time on the beach.
This was our first trip to this magical home, and we all agreed that it would not be the last.

This house is phenomenal! It was everything we wished for and more. This was our third time visiting the area and this was by far our favorite place we stayed. With king size beds throughout, the balconies/decks, the hot tub, and every accommodation you could think of! Book now, you won’t regret it! Thank you for making our family vacation so memorable.

Great stay in Freeland
We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was well maintained and very comfortable. There were eleven of us including three kids. The views were incredible. We went clamming on the beach and ate steamed clams as well as clam chowder. The jacuzzi was large with a view of the water. We had a fire in the fire pit three nights with the wood provided. My entire family was sorry we had to leave. John was very responsive and even let me borrow his golf cart to go to the beach. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There are two great groceries within 10 minutes. Deception, and Ebey parks are within a 45 minute drive for some great hiking. Highly recommend.

As always, this house never ceases to impress. The property is so peaceful and and relaxing—with gorgeous views of the water, a garden-like yard with nooks and crannies for moments away alone or with friends! The house itself is perfect for large groups, with plenty of space and amenities to make the stay comfortable. And to top it all off, John is the most kind, generous host. We'll be back!

We loved the accommodations, the amenities, and the location. The house is really well put together, with plenty of comfortable beds and lots of space. We were able to hold group meetings comfortably, have recreation time in the hot tub and around the fire pit, and to cook meals together in a very well stocked kitchen. All-in-all, we'd return in a heartbeat.
