Very convenient place, basically perfect for me.
Close to the Tenmonkan street, and also Kagoshima Port to go Sakurajima.
All are within 15 minutes walking distance, which makes a perfect short stay.
The facilities are basic, and quite all rounded for this price, I have no complaints for it.
I also can leave my luggage at second floor when I arrived before the check in time.

Pretty close to the ferry to Yakushima Ferry. Very cheap and basic as it was a quick overnight stay before the early ferry. Private room for two.
Place seemed oddly empty of staff. Check-in was sort of self regulated but a staff member appeared briefly to help us get registered. Bed was uncomfortable. But again, it was just a brief overnight pit stop.

The guest house was well situated for central Kagoshima. The room had a new shower, toilet and separate vanity unit.
The place had a smell of cooking throughout, the bedroom was long with one bed at one end and the other at the other end!! The beds were old one was made out of mattress bits and the other mattress was old and stained, there wasn't any bed linen change while we were there and assorted towels had to be rented for ¥200 each. I cannot recommend this property at all.
