Fabulous location with immaculate gardens and swimming pool. The room and bed are very comfortable and clean The breakfast was delicious - thank you.

All very good but some of the details the host provided wasn't upto date e.g use of fast EV charger at local Portofino restaurant. Not a major problem but for us lost us travel time the next day.

Mr Larcher was a very happy host who explained everything in French, no worries that we didn't understand any of it... It's a quiet out of the way accommodation and very convenient for Montbazon. The double bed was ok, but the second single bed was very hard. The place was clean, good breakfast, nice pool, jacuzzi, and garden.

Unfortunately Mr Larcher only speaks very fast French, the amazing thing was that his wife is an English teacher and speaks excellent English. It would have been much easier for her to show us around and leave the French guests to Mr Larcher, but I believe the whole thing is his baby and his wife doesn't get involved. We booked 2 double beds but only found 1 double and 1 single in the room. The single was very hard. Too many unnecessary rules for our liking and it had the undertones of Fawlty Towers, although the Germans weren't mentioned. No curtains across the bedroom window, only a see-through net, which was a little disconcerting. Plenty more negatives if you read other reviews, which is a shame because it's a nice place.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable throughout. Nice quiet tranquil area of Montbazon. The owner was hospitable although had no English and I had no French so had to use Google translate to communicate which was fine.

Upon arriving I placed my bags on the bed and the owner practically told me off as apparently bed bugs appear when beds have bags on them so I had to put them elsewhere. I was told I couldn't eat in the room so had to sit outside while I had a snack. I felt like I was treated like a child and couldn't be trusted not to make a mess. Breakfast was disappointing; sugared pastries and chocolate cookies with a fruit bowl was the offering. If you want to enhance your chance of diabetes then it's great, however I need proper food in the morning so I left in search of a cooked breakfast elsewhere.
