Beautiful views, the privacy of our unit

The advertisement of a restaurant, after payment before check in, we were informed that there is not actually a restaurant. However, you must order for dinner before 3pm if you want to have dinner. After a very long drive, I arrived at 2 with kids thinking of grabbing lunch without a fully operating restaurant

I have already reviewed this on another posting. In the end, it’s a great location and great value for people traveling to Mozambique or visiting the Kruger Park.

Nothing to say.

Property is always clean and ready to receive visitors. The overlook of the river, golf course, and Kruger Park Way in the background make for an incredible view for visitors. The chicken Curry is a really good option if you plan to eat there. If you do, remember to plan ahead and let the staff know before 3 PM.

The overall view of the Lodge was nice. Bar area and swimming pool was beautifull. Went on the Tiger Fishing Boat, the guide, Dyllan, was exceptional. He spend time with the whole group individually. He really made us feel save, assist us with all our questions. Plus Point for him

Unfortunately the room does not meet 4stars at all. Reception was not accomodating at all. Was told we should have studied the info better when we made the booking. Only certain units had fully self catering accessories. Ours did not have any kitchen accessories, eccept for a bar fridge, kettle, microwave, cups sauces, mugs and teaspoons. Teacups and milk jar was extreamly dirty. Ironing board, but no Iron. No power sockets near or even close to the bed. Bathroom was really dirty, shower we did not use because of "stains", toilet was leaking (maintenance should have known because a water bottle was stuck underneath Toiletoutlet pipe) Curtains of bathroom was really sticky off the dirt. Windowsill, taps was also very dirty. On floors where also dirt stains. Living areas floor was cracket. To be rated as a 4Star, are totally far fetch. Even if we maybe misread that only certain units where fully self catered, reception could have been more accomodating, or even be more remoarsefull. And does that mean if it is not fully self catered, does that mean it must be less clean We will defenatly not make a booking again at River Hill Lodge
