Das Gasthaus liegt mitten im Wald und es ist sehr ruhig. Man hört nur das Rauschen der Bode. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Unsere Unterkunft war sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Es gibt nichts, was und nicht gefallen hat.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great location, friendly staff, cozy biergarten right outside, and a couple of hiking trails at arm's reach. Beautiful!

This place was a real pearl. We didn’t expect the idyllic location of this hotel. It sits literally right in between vertical rock faces and next to an impressive river. We walked 800 meters from the parking place which meant no cars and traffic sound around the hotel. Precious thing nowadays. The restaurant was wonderful and offered traditional and amazing food. Breakfast was great, especially the warm and fresh bread. Only downside might be that one puts on extra kilos because of the food. Rooms were simple and comfy. People running the place are cheerful and very friendly. Outdoor sport possibilities around the place are really good: Rock climbing for all levels just behind the corner, mountain biking, hiking routes, etc.

Expectable inconvenience at this kind of mountain accommodation was that the warm water was finished around morning and evening hours.

We've been staying in a family apartment and it was everything we could wish for - with two bedrooms and a spacious open space serving as a kitchen, dining room and living room, it was hardly smaller than our apartment back home. And then the place... the Gasthaus is smack in the middle of Bodetal, on a scenic hiking trail through the gorge. Caveat: pack light, there's a 10 minute walk from parking place to the Gasthaus. Backpack/duffel bag strongly recommended.

Beautiful location and super friendly people. The breakfast was really good with fresh hot bread. After 7.30 pm the whole area is just for you and other guests of the guesthouse. Very calm and relaxing.

All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful but I feel they could do with 1 or 2 extra people as they seemed understaffed. However, this is not a negative just a suggestion
