AH - Fashion District

My first time travel to Milan. It was short business trip. I chose this hotel as it is extremely close to my work venue. The convenience of the distance helped me a lot. I was worry that it is in the centre of the town and it would be noisy but it is quiet inside the room. It's not a typical style of hotel as there is no reception, you have to help yourself to check in and check out, however the staff would contact you via WhatsUp prior to your arrival. The instruction to find the floor and the hotel room is very clear. I worried a lot about the luggage storage as I have full day work the next day and I have to check out at 11:00. The reception is very helpful (via WhatUp) she told me I can leave my luggage inside the room and fetch on the afternoon. However my work is overrun, the lady kept my luggage inside their storage room and also provided me the code to access the keys. Everything is smooth, only at the beginning when you try to get your room's keys, it's very difficult to open the key box if you have manicure..... I tried so many times and got sweaty... but finally got the keys. The room is clean, facility is standard and modern too, room is spacious for one person. I like it provided iron and iron board, though I have a travel size and I didn't use it, however for business trip it is essential. I like the fact it provide slippers, as I know many EU countries they don't provide. Bed is slightly too soft for me but I slept well. Overall very happy for the experience, there is cafe right down stairs, you can have breakfast, as I found in centre Milan it's hard to find cafe. Walking distance to Milan Church and Arch and other attractions, location is superb with this price. I enjoyed my short but sweet stay.

Posizione ottima, proprio all’uscita della metropolitana San Babila e perfetta per visitare Milano. Molto piacevole anche la vista sulla piazza. La camera era pulita e ho apprezzato la presenza del dispenser di sapone in doccia. Le istruzioni per il self check-in erano molto dettagliate e facili da seguire. Comoda, infine, la possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in struttura anche dopo il check-out.

La TV non prendeva molto bene e alcuni canali si vedevano male. La macchina del caffè aveva una sola ed unica cialda, già inserita. Era presente anche il bollitore, ma solo con camomilla e senza nemmeno una bustina di tè. La camera 7, essendo vicina all’ingresso e alla reception, al mattino può risultare un po’ rumorosa per il passaggio e le conversazioni.

Posizione meravigliosa.

Quando piove dal bagno esce un odore sgradevole. Il letto ha un lenzuolo che lascia il copripiumino aperto dal lato del cuscino facendone fuoriuscire l'interno.
