Le Stanze di Penelope

Leuk ingerichte kamer. Hartelijke gastvrouw. Lokatie was handig tov het station van Salerno. Ook de boulevard was niet ver. Goed bed, heerlijke douche. Verder is Salerno een prachtige, bruisende stad. In het centrum wordt iedere avond geflaneerd door jong en oud. Prachtig om te zien hoe hele families wandelen door de straat of over de boulevard. Penelope en haar moeder kwamen ons gedag zeggen en ons helpen met onze bagage.

De zitbank was hard en laag. Niet erg, want we waren toch de hele dag er op uit. In het kleine gemeenschappelijke keukentje kon je koffie of thee maken. Er was een koelkast voor de gasten van de twee kamers..Als je op hetzelfde moment zin hebt in thee of koffie, moet je wachten tot je aan de beurt bent. Nogal gehorig.

I loved the place and will definitely book this place once Im back to Salerno! Penelope is a very kind lady who came right on time and explained me everything about the room. She is always available to answer questions, give you helpful tips about the city and provide help if necessary. The room is quite spacious and comfy, everything necessary is provided and it is very clean! I loved the decoration of the room and the fact that it had its own private bathroom inside the room. The location is perfect right in the heart of the city so you can walk anywhere in the city and the street is quite safe too if you come home late at night. As a solo female traveler, I highly recommend it.

Nice pastries and coffee

We thought we were sharing a two bedroom apartment with our mail, travel companion and it turned out. The second bedroom was booked to another couple. Our friend was rebooked into another property 500 m away. We ended up sharing our apartment with strangers. Did not expect this.!
