Excellent room, would recommend for families with two kids. Transportation in the evening is a bit restricted (taxi is your best option), but during the day there are bus stops nearby.

Very beautiful village house with stunning view in the rooftop. You can see the love from the owner from every detail of this place. Room is very clean, bathroom is big in HK standard. It is only 5-10 mins walk to bus stop, supermarket and restaurants. Already planning our next stay in this place.

The room is super clean, they provide hairdryer and water boiler in the room. The view is super green and you'll get to hear the nature ambience. The host is friendly and very informative, he even sent us video of how to get to the guesthouse and explained which bus we can take to the nearby attractions. And luckily the host was kind enough to meet us down the road and even help us carry one of our luggage. Thank you

The walking distance from the main street is quite a distance, especially if you get to carry heavy luggage and travel with kids or elderly. This place will suit someone who doesn't carry big luggage and loves nature. For family trip, i'd suggest to offer an option of luggage carry help with extra charge. I'm sure it'll be very helpful and they won't mind to pay for it. The kitchen is separated from the room area, so it was a bit hard if we need water at night because the kitchen area is locked at 10.30pm

The location is a good compromise between airport and Lantau island coast to explore the neighborhood. Terry was very helpful in all aspects of local travel planning. The room was very clean and it was very quiet. Outside or in a locked kitchen room there was a refridgerator available. The 7 minute walkway to the guesthouse is well described and with sufficient signs, the walk way is solid beton and suitcases roll very nicely. You can see some local plants and hear some frogs. Transportation with taxi worked perfectly, there are also some bus lines nearby. I will consider my stay again.

What you need to know in advance, there is a shoe self at the entrance. But we found a solution on that. Mosquitos stayed away during my stay, but might be different at other times.

The location was fantastic for hiking on one of HK’s off-the-beaten track islands. Larry, the guesthouse owner, was extraordinarily kind, warm, and proactive in helping me get the most out of my one day/night on the island, giving detailed instructions on how to get around the island by bus, etc. This made my visit so much more pleasurable than I would have had at a larger chain hotel, even one with fancier amenities.
