It was a privilege to stay in the Superior Apartment. The rooms had splendour, they were clean, the kitchenette and bathroom were perfect for our needs and the bed was super, super comfortable. The staff working the reception could not have been more accommodating or helpful - they were a delight. The apartment was perfectly located in the city centre, very close to the main square and the vast array of eateries and shops in the centre and along the waterfront. Ljublijana itself is our new favourite city. It has a wow factor around every corner, but also a vibe and a soul and the people were just so, so warm and friendly.

There really isn't anything not to like about the accommodation, or the city. If I was being super picky, I might suggest the televisions in the rooms could be a little larger, but given we were hardly indoors it really didn't matter.

We loved our stay at Barbo palace. The service was excellent. A dinner reservation and a taxi ride to the airport was arranged for us. Recommendations for restaurants was greatly appreciated. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment was a good size and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Barbo palace.

Wonderful apartments in a fascinating building, great location, and very friendly, especially Gregor at the front desk who was super helpful and gave us great advice! 100% would go back again

curtains slightly off rails in the kitchenette, minor point for us and we didn't need it fixed.

Fabulous location within a few steps of the old town. Nice historical buildings, lifts, nice courtyard, very informative , proactive and gracious manager.

Some of the decor was a bit of an eye sore eg. red fridge and divan
