Spacious and very dog friendly. Hard floors and secure garden. Easy access and secure. A short walk from country activity park, so ideal for outdoorsy family on a budget. The house has all the essentials and host was kind to lend me a hairdryer as I forgot my UK plug adapter. Plenty of hot water with a thermostat controlled bath/shower tap. Comfortable bed. It was very quiet when I stayed in July.
All the basics are here, the house is quite dated and being on the edge of a park there are insects attracted to the light I expect.
Bedding and towels are functional rather than luxurious.
Bathroom downstairs, though sinks in bedrooms and upstairs toilet.
Stairs are really steep!
