The soothing sound of the wind through the pine trees. The wide open Tasmania Highland rural backdrop. Quiet and slow energy. The farm animals and the owners of the property were genuinely interested in my wellbeing and comfort. Just loved the sense of peace and the rustic scenes.

Authentic Australian country farming experience.
Wonderful hospitality shown by hosts Richard and Cally. Especially the delicious dinner experience.

The location was Central to the destinations we wanted to explore and it was quiet even though it was not far from the road. The farm animals were nice to see. The best thing was meeting two sincere English couple which are now our best mates.
The room we had (Possum room) was small and it was only good enough for a couple of nights not 4 nights like we had.The ensuite was modern, the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky.Could hear the floorboards in the next bedroom creak and the bed squeak too.
The washing machine was outside in a cupboard, no dryer but if you had the other room it did come with a washing machine and dryer but you had to pay more for that room only. The host was nice and friendly.
