The house was fantastic with lots of interesting little twists and turns in the lower level. The beds were amazing and each bedroom was well presented and comfortable. No less than two sitting rooms downstairs as well as a very well appointed kitchen with such amazing views over the Firth.
We had some ants on the kitchen counter that was a bit annoying but no big deal, a little bug spray sorted that. The walk up the hill to the Kames Hotel was a little bit taxing for my seventy year old legs but the pint was waiting for me.

We liked everything. Great place, Great house and also beautiful views.

We were lucky to have glorious sunshine whole week as the house was right on the beech to enjoy water activities. The conservatory is the best room in the house as allows you to enjoy the views of the Kyle of Bute at any time regardless of the weather.
More comfortable garden furniture, but what was there was adequate. This is only relevant as the weather was particularly good.
