Japanese breakfast and dinner + private onsen

Nice location (10 minutes on foot from bus stop though). Room was amazing: very very spacious and the private onsen was very nice.
Prices are too high. Dinner and breakfast were very good but portions were small (and an upcharge for hida beef is requested). Very strict timing for dinner and breakfast too. All in all the structure is showing signa of age. Only one washing machine and one drier in the coin laundry.

Beautiful location, private onsen in our room, excellent breakfast and amazing dinner. Value for money. Roof top terrace with great views. We highly recommend staying in that hotel. Our room was on upper level the room was huge. The hotel is run like a traditional Japanese hotel but with western conveniences. The beds and other furniture in the room where comfortable. Amazing spacious room.
Wished we stayed there longer.

The food was well presented and tasty but the same every day.
The room was tired and shabby. The wallpaper was stained in many places. The room was dark and unloved.
