Es gibt sie immer, die Highlights einer Reise. Und diese Unterkunft gehört bei unser letzten 14-tägigen Reise durch die Alpen dazu, wo wir fast jeden Tag an einem anderen Ort übernachtet haben. Gefallen hat uns: Der freundliche Empfang, der tolle Gastgeber mit hervorragenden Englischkenntnissen, das tolle Haus, die Einrichtung, der Ausblick, das Frühstück, der Garagenplatz fürs Motorrad… Man hat da sein sein Zimmer und kann vom Gastgeber Bad, Küche, Sofa, Balkon und Aussicht mit nutzen. Das gefällt vielleicht nicht jedem, aber wir fanden es richtig toll. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend unterwegs sein, werden wir auf jeden Fall schauen, ob da noch ein Bett frei ist.

Das moderne Haus liegt oberhalb des Tales und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Das Zimmer befindet sich in der Privatwohnung des Vermieters. Gemeinsames Bad. Das Motorrad kann in einer Garage untergestellt werden. Guillaume fährt auch Motorrad. Einfaches gutes Frühstück.

Die Traumlage am Berg bedeutet zwangsläufig, dass keine Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe sind....war für mich allerdings kein Problem.

Tout était parfait, Guillaume est une personne très gentille et très agréable, il m'a très bien accueilli dans sa belle maison qui est très bien situé avec une vue magnifique, si je reviens de la région je n'hésiterai pas une seconde. Pour un motard comme moi la maison de Guillaume possède un garage ce qui est très appréciable

Now we had such high expectations of staying here, our first real stop in Switzerland, and maybe we had to high a idea of what to expect. In the end we breathed a sigh of relief to leave

Why did we struggle so much?.... It was the simple fact that you were in someone's home, and WE both felt like we were walking on eggshells around someone else's home.. scared to make a mess or leave something out of place...not wanting to settle and just chill out inside the house, and as I felt like I had broken a house rule of having my shoes on inside the house, which which the artificial leg is a nightmare to remove the one shoe, and if I had, the sock on the polished floor would have been a hell of a risk of slipping over, this combined with sharing 1 toilet with another couple made things even worse for me, as to get fully dressed and leg on just for a midnight loo stop, and again trying to creep about so not to wake anyone. The whole thing was not a comfortable feeling, stunning views maybe so and a great garage to put the trike in,,,, BUT.... and it is a BIG BUT.... mabe is a group of mates or girls together it might have been better. But not a place I would rush back to stay at. Sorry but that's my opinion and Lorraine's
