A lovely apartment right in the center of the Old Town, yet quiet at night. Everything is close by: coffee shops, breakfast places, more restaurants than you could ever choose from, the Forum shopping mall, the canals, and all the sights you plan to see before you go are a 4 to 10 minute walk at most. The apartment really has everything you need: fridge, cooker and hob, washing machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and even a fan for hot days. Tea, sugar and a few other basics were provided, and the tap water is safe to drink. Plenty of hot water in the shower and English channels on the TV. The entrance is very secure, with a strong door and code entry for both the building and the apartment, so no keys to worry about. If you want to stay in the heart of Gdańsk, this is the place to rent.

The main downside was that there was no meet and greet. Not being welcomed by the host in person was a bit of a turn-off, and it's the reason I'm giving 9 rather than 10. Apart from that, two small comfort points. The beds felt quite narrow for a bigger person, and I always had the feeling I might fall off (I didn't!). The pillows were also very soft; I had to stack three together to get comfortable. A choice of firmer pillows would make a big difference. Would I stay again? Yes, if I could push the two beds together and have a firm pillow. It's that good.

The location in the old town was excellent. Also easy 10 minute walk from the train station. Quiet at night.

Warm water was na 10-15 minuten douchen op… Het gordijn in beide slaapkamers was te kort, zodat het daglicht (vanaf 5 uur sochtends) naar binnen kwam. Als lichte slaper betekende dit vroeg op… Het raam in 1 van de 2 slaapkamers kon niet helemaal dicht; het tochtte gedurende ons verblijf (bij 15 graden wel oke, maar 0 in de nacht wel iets minder) Klein minpuntje: Er waren alleen 2x slaapkamers met 2 een-persoonsbedden
