B&B Lorena Suites

Well appointed room, very clean throughout and the location of the property was very very good. A very happy stay.

Not a great deal.

We wanted to be located slightly out of busy area of Florence. We like to walk so location good. Property was very clean, spacious and has a lift. Breakfast was brought with a smile, nice staff Shower was great, powerful.

I misunderstood the difference between a balcony and a terrace. Possibly a nationality issue as in the UK balcony and terrace are similar! On booking the room I appear to have become confused by the 9 photos of the exterior of the property where 8 of the photos show a large ‘terrace with 2 sun loungers’ with a view of the mountains and the 1 photo Of a balcony facing the main road. Completely my fault. I clearly should have looked into the choice of terrace / balcony with much more consideration to ensure I selected the correct option. It would be easy to say I was ‘mislead’ by the 8 images showing the terrace and 1 showing the balcony . But lesson learned I will be much more careful in future. Thank you for our stay 🙏

La posizione

Nulla

Good location, 20-minute walk to the centre which was ideal. Some nice cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. Good size room and bathroom which was clean, we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening once the city was quieter.

Room needs some TLC where plaster has come off the walls and the woodwork on the door had been taped together. There were lots of check-in instructions about what you can/can’t do which felt a bit condescending, but nothing about checking out until I asked about paying tourist tax. Due to contactless check-in staff are only available during certain hours which wasn’t made clear. We stayed on the 4th floor and it was extremely noisy from the room above.
