Clean spacious room and comfortable beds. Host friendly and helpful. Breakfast no frills but served promptly and well cooked

The outside of the property needs painting and renovation and the stair and landing carpets old and worn. The property had an unpleasant smell of fried food throughout. Bedrooms clean and freshly painted and decorated but sparsely furnished and lacking in any decorative homely touches like pictures. Bedside cabinets too small and too low and bedside lights dim with no shade and orange decorative bulbs (?). Nowhere to store toiletries or hooks in the bathroom for towels and reading gowns etc.

Easy 8 minute walk into the town centre and its amenities. Peaceful and quiet, very comfortable bed - great nights sleep. Convenient parking in layby opposite the guest house. Great breakfast to start the day. Perfect location for exploring Cardiganshire and North Pembrokeshire coast.

For us - nothing

The overhead light in bedroom 3 was a little dim for reading and the bedside lights were a bit weird!! We could have used a shelf in the bathroom for our bits and pieces. We could also have appreciated a shelf/table top in the main room.

Very good 10 day stay all round. Very good location near the centre of Cardigan. Room was very comfortable and had a very good breakfast each morning. The owner, Mallt, and his staff were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Would definitely return here.
